  1. Yup..writing is on the wall. Sun was poking through here before it got dark, so that tells me this WWA is a joke.
  2. Sun just went down, and there are breaks of sun poking through everywhere...no precip around here at all....
  3. Where’s the precip gonna come from..that storm offshore is way out there...I don’t see any of that getting in here?
  4. Zilch here. A few flakes in the air last week..and I mean a few(like 8 flakes). But that’s cool..it’s coming.
  5. Pretty mild there. 33 and grey here..feels like a typical cold November (albeit way below normal) day. Way below forecast highs so far.
  6. Holy crap you ain’t kidding...my thoughts exactly.
  7. And that was exactly my point to Dr. Troll, ahh I mean Dr. Dews.
  8. I’m not into demonstrating any such thing. And I don’t care to go look up that data. The fact remains..November is not a winter month, and I feel that’s the way it needs to be looked at. You can keep pushing the fail idea. I’m fine with no snow yet..it’s the way it should be. A couple weeks from now, climo starts being even more favorable...I can wait.
  9. But it’s not an epic fail or fail at all..which is what you are saying. Please...do yourself a favor, and go move to Georgia...it’s nice and humid there all the time in the warm months..and has benign winters. you’d be perfect there.
  10. But it’s not Mid January. It’s -7 departures in November... Early and mid November nonetheless...that doesn’t always lead to snow even in mid winter timetables; let alone in an Autumn month as we are in now. Why are you so hell bent on saying this is some kind of fail?? It’s not!! Especially not for SNE. Late December through mid March, then you’d have a very good point...but not now!
  11. I don’t see .83”, but I see .51”and .61” on those maps, but not .83”. Think you read them wrong..those numbers are small so it’s tough to read.
  12. I actually read that fully, and even more surprising I actually understood it lol...thank you for that Higgins.
  13. It’s mid November. I told you a couple days back, November is not a winter month Mr. Troll.
  14. But to be fair...that’s exactly what it’s supposed to be at this time...A cold rainy November Nor’Easter. So it’s seasonable and Normal.
  15. Imo the OP Euro has been more of a douche-bag lately than ever....
  16. Oh ya...the locals get out when the ground gets covered. Way up in N. Aroostook County they got about a foot the other day, and quite a few locals busted out the sleds. Let’s keep it coming....
  17. He was being sarcastic...meaning that isn’t that bold of a prediction given there’s 6 weeks left to 2019, and each day/week that goes by, it gets more conducive for SNE to see snow. He was just busting your chops a lil Ant...all in fun. I don’t think we get shut out from now, until The new year either. Something should pop...even just a couple inches is Not that hard as we go into the end of November, and into December.
  18. That happens many seasons in SNE...what’s your point? Many times it takes until After the first of the year to get anything significant in SNE. Just the way it goes some years. That’s why March is a winter month and features more snow than both November and December.
  19. Wow that’s impressive. You’re 15 degrees warmer than here. That’s quite the difference.
  20. Bet against that. That’ll change by late tonight or tmrw to a cold rain.
  21. Lmao... RAMBLE ON...Led Zeppelins song applies.
  22. Sun is out here..temp starting to respond a bit, up to 33 now. Was forecast to be cloudy all day..but the sun is out nonetheless.
  23. He’s Higgins from Magnum PI reincarnated..
  24. Ant...go up to Caribou and see if Caribou P.D. Is hiring? Nice little town...but has everything you’d want. Presque Isle is just south of Caribou, but it’s a lil bigger town..Presque Isle is known as the “hub of Aroostook County.” Both those towns are big enough where they have their own PD’s. And in southern Aroostook county, there’s Houlton; and they have their own PD, and a decent sized one for that area. Or there’s always the Border Patrol agency up there as well. Once north of there, the State police cover the little Northern Aroostook towns; except for Fort Kent and Madawaska, they have their own PD’s. You want Cold..and I mean Absolute brutal cold that’s the place to go. And Snow...well they get buried up there. There’s Almost a foot on the ground from yesterday’s system in N. Aroostook county, Maine.
