It’s felt quite autumn like for a good month now..so yes.

What are you trying to do? You obviously feel the need to keep stirring the pot. Why? This is a weather forum. Obviously we all have different ideas on things. I suggest you stop the instigating, and stick to weather discussions. If you want to talk politics or what not, we have a thread for those things. So you can Take it there.

I don’t understand some of these people. Yesterday was gorgeous…but other than that, it’s been very autumnal for weeks. 56 here now..feels nice. But then it’s showers and very cool coming up.

That’s ok..a tad too early yet. Let something pop in and around thanksgiving….and the beginning of December.

2013 was an all timer here as as far as snowfall..close to 3ft. It was incredible. Crazy part, those amounts were supposed to be out east…but the crazy band of 6”/hr set up right here….what a raging beotch that storm was. It was astounding.

Couldn’t agree more Don. It can, and certainly has been quiet of late…but we’re due for some action. And I think it’s coming this winter…

Blizzards are not that frequent anyway…but we’ve had a lot over the last 25-30 Years. I don’t think we can say they’ll be less frequent after the run we’ve just had. But whatever.

Ya, this is what I was thinking too. Outside of the LES snow belts, and U.P. , New England sees more average snow imo than the Midwest in most cases. Maybe I’m wrong…but that’s how I understood it.

I don’t know…I don’t think the Midwest is as cold as you are saying it is? Maybe far northern Minnesota and The U.P. of Michigan , and far northern North Dakota sure, but other than those places I don’t know. But everybody likes different aspects of storms, so it’s all good.

It’s been a great autumn in that regard for sure. Personally, I feel it’s exactly how autumn in SNE/NE should be. And yes, nothing is believable at this stage…and even if it’s upon us, there is no guarantee as we all know, that snow/or even storms come out of it. That’s the crazy nuances that make snowfall potential so hard to pin down here-good pattern or otherwise.

We have a December pattern already fabled? Wow, Let’s discuss.

I feel my position is any short term(again on a global time scale)warming that is, or may be currently happening, is insignificant, and will revert back the other way, just as any cooling also did. It’s these fluctuations that is our climate. I do not feel it is caused by us. And the globe has done this for eons before we were here(and on a massive scale at times) , and will continue to do it long after we are gone. That’s my feeling. Nobody has to agree. I do not bring it up. Others do, and bust balls..and that’s cool too, but I don’t try and change anybody’s mind…believe and feel what you want. It’s all good.. getting out of work, and going to drink some beer now. Hoping for a fast start to this years winter. Have a great evening gentlemen.
