    We tried to tell him…he wouldn’t listen. He will be cleansed by brimstone and SNOW.

    Bottom line…gonna be a big storm and big hit. We take and enjoy. 12-18 is a good bet where we stand right now. As others have said…whatever happens during the day Monday(if anything at all) will be the extra or not. Let’s enjoy this. It’s been a long time coming.

    What time we think start time is in central CT on Sunday? 8:00 am? 10 am? We be Traveling back from the north. We want to try and beat the snow before it gets in. Do we expect this to come in like a wall? Or start out slowly?

    My meaning to Paul was, at first this was just a huge overrunning event., then all of a sudden a phase was introduced, and a potential coastal was starting to emerge. Now that seems to be the idea for areas further east.

    I mentioned posted this yesterday to Paul/Wiz. He said it was pretty plausible, I was kind of shocked at that, but then again I’m not the MET.

    Thanks pal. still think that’s awfully early. But we’ll see. Traveling back from N Maine that morning…so hoping for a little later start.

    Ya, He lives in a pit there…always colder than surrounding area. 9 here currently.

    No pictures of the GFS? It went boom, but Did it gain the latitude? Or was it south.

    As this whole phasing idea is gaining steam…that seemed to delay the start somewhat it seemed.

    Maybe he meant 7pm? 7 am sounds way to early?

    Just caught up on all the posts….about 180 of them when I checked in about 9:00(always a great sign). So, if this pans out/gets up here for us, are we looking at more of a Sunday afternoon start time now?

    Jan 16, but we knew what you meant. That was actually pretty good up to my hood..but not to far north of me it cut off big time.

    Well, a couple days ago…it looked like a straight forward big overrunning deal. That’s not completely the case anymore. So it has trended into something more complex.

    Well, we do know the 500mb evolution that we see today, won’t be 100% correct, so we know that. What those changes entail, that’s what we dont know.

    This is fluid…it’s morphing/it’s trending. The storm hasn’t even formed yet, and the confluence isn’t here yet either, there will be changes. That’s all you can say at this moment. Also These elements are not being handled perfectly at this juncture either.

    A little of both…a compromise. Slow it down a little like some modeling is showing, I think our chances improve greatly.
