    I agree. But the NWS issuing warnings/advisories etc….I think folks kind of feel it makes things official. Like, they are the pros, so if they think it, then they must know type a thing. But ya…the weather doesn’t give a shit what BOX does.

    Absolutely. I never get that thinking. I likened it to having a fabulous day or two in mid April that are 75-80 degrees, but not enjoying it because 2-3 days later it’ll be 41 with drizzle. Idiotic.

    Ok so maybe a dumb question here from somebody not quite as versed as others…but if the S/W energy is hanging back and consolidating the hast 12 hrs…wouldn’t that be a small sign that the system is not weakening/attenuating, but rather showing signs of the opposite? Or am I completely not understanding .

    NWFE…? Lol. Which is a SWFE in reverse. But similar idea..just from a different direction…and reverse the warm air winning out as you said, and replace it with the cold winning.

    Lol…I don’t think I’m getting 12”…I think my point is, this has turned into what looks to be a significant region wide event. That was not the case just a very short time ago. My posts from the first page of this threat, mentioned all any of us needed, was incremental shifts over the next 2 days…and that’s what has happened. Especially for those EOR, and beyond.
