    The expense of this storm is immense to say the least. The radar is most impressive too. Perhaps I’m wrong, but this looks poised to bury us.

    Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a uniform Narcan snow map distribution ever before like that over all of SNE/and NY State. Talk about spreading the wealth. Impressive.

    Nice…below zero. Just got home from Maine at 7:30. We left at 11:30 am and when we drove out of the camp driveway, it was still 7 below zero. Got home and it’s not a whole lot warmer.

    It shows .8” of qpf for you (if that’s where you are there in Maine?), if you do 20:1 there’s your 16”. That’s great, no?

    Ginxy said 15-20” across the area…assuming no/very little sleet mixes in any specific area gonna be a good call imo.

    I remember that one well…but wasn’t on any weather board then, so I don’t know the lead up to that one as far as qpf was concerned.

    Bottom line…gonna be a big storm and big hit. We take and enjoy. 12-18 is a good bet where we stand right now. As others have said…whatever happens during the day Monday(if anything at all) will be the extra or not. Let’s enjoy this. It’s been a long time coming.

    What time we think start time is in central CT on Sunday? 8:00 am? 10 am? We be Traveling back from the north. We want to try and beat the snow before it gets in. Do we expect this to come in like a wall? Or start out slowly?
