    Compared to the hell temps we just had…80 is comfy. But I get it…strong sun this time of year no matter what.

    It’s not that bad out there…cool but bearable with shorts on(and I’m not a short wearer when it’s chilly either), I had no issues with shorts on.

    I think some folks are getting ahead of themselves, and thinking it’s over shortly. As Jerry said…just like with the winter storms.

    In all fairness, Lots of us south of Hartford in CT are gonna end up with 3-4” plus if this goes all night. I realize there’s quite the cut off north of CT boarder…but South of that it’s adding up.

    Been raining moderate to heavy for the last couple hrs…quite the soaker here…with quite a bit more to come if modeling has any clue. We take.

    This is excellent. I don’t want/or need 7 plus inches of flooding garbage. Steady soaking with more on the way through the day and overnight. We’ll be 3” here when it’s all wrapped up is my estimate. And that’s perfect.

    Looks pretty uniform to me on the radar…been raining nonstop for 12 hrs now, and 3” is looking likely here.

    Yup…CT in the thick of it. Soaking rains. Kev was hedging it stayed south..not happening with this one.

    Ya, we’ve gotten lucky with the showers here lately Bob. So it hasn’t been to dry here.

    Some may pick up the rain as if it were a tropical system…if guidance is on to anything.

    North end of town did…trees down everywhere- we missed it by literally a 2-3 mile margin. I’m glad..didn’t want the AC going down. But it got stormy and nasty. Picked up alot of rain.

    Dam, I hope it isn’t here, don’t need that much water, but most guidance is 4 plus here easily. What’s causing this? Not too often does a summertime system produce all day long plus rains in summer time.

    We got between 1-2” last night. So we aren’t all that dry here currently.

    Yup, the big totals are gonna fluctuate here and there…but a very good soaking looks likely for a good chunk of SNE.
