  1. That output is worse there for you agreed. But its better back this way. If that happens like that shows the next 2weeks…I’ll have just about hit my yearly average snowfall. But the odds of that playing out like that are low obviously. That too will change for better or worse. So it’s all relative.
  2. Ya, Don and I have done well in central CT..so we’re in a good spot. You average more than we do, so it’s a less of a good spot for you at this moment.
  3. Agree. Zero complaints here. Second half about to begin…let’s finish strong. 40” on Feb 1st for season to date…that’s not a bad place to be…when your yearly average is 50”.
  4. I’m good bro. It’s funny I agree. Love the terminator clips .
  5. Not initially you didn’t. It was congrats Richmond and The Carolina’s from you. And that was before the Webb thing. And the one before that you didn’t either. It’s all good and doesn’t matter. Point is Things change all the time. As this just did, and last week too, and the week before that did too. This clipper/boundary whatever it looks to be, will change/morph too. What looks quiet now, may/or may not be as we move forward in time.
  6. Fabulous post. That idea seems to have gotten lost to some on here.
  7. The so called clipper isn’t being completely modeled correctly at this juncture… so before you sell everything off Mr. Happy, just relax and enjoy the wintry feel and snowy landscape. You didn’t see any of the 32” that just hit you the last 2-3 weeks either. We can go back and find your posts saying exactly that. Saying boring and how you just can’t believe how it won’t snow in Weymouth. That sound just like todays posts do now. Yet somehow you’re at normal snowfall to date there. Funny how that worked out. Sit back and see what happens. got a whole second half about to start. Sucks we missed this one…I agree. Would have really been nice. But we’re in a good spot at the moment. Best winter since ‘21…Keep your chin up.
  8. I’m surprised at you. I’ll take 2-3” end of This week. Not a greedy person. Thank you.
  9. There’s zero truth in what you said. Zero!
  10. You know what can’t be matched…is your propensity to constantly moan. Even if you are buried in two feet and single digit temps. As a whole, so far this winter has been good to very good depending on exactly where one lives. And with another half still to go…And the snowiest month in front of us climatologically speaking, we’ll see how we end up.
  11. You’re silly. You sound like such a dumb person when you talk like that. Has been nothing of the sort. You sir..are misled. Go back into your hole, and wimper some more. . Sad.
  12. 3 straight months(Nov Dec Jan) BN. It’s been a good run of consistent cold.
  13. I guess so. Guy is at it every morning…every day the last month we heard how dry and boring it looks. Yet some how he got crushed. And here we go again, still saying the same shit…every morning. The two footer jackpot, an absolute frigid temps didn’t satiate the greedy guy in Weymouth.
  14. This is a good post. Some folks looks at modeling and just assumes it’s 100% correct at 4-5 days lead. When is that ever even close to right?
  15. You just got two feet! The week before that you got 8”. 32” in January…For god sakes are you ever happy. Your TBlizz. We have two TBlizz’s now. It’s been frigid, and it’s snowed..quite a bit. What else do you expect out of a winter in SNE?
  16. Impressive. Nothing like palm trees in heavy wind blown snow. So much for global warming lmao. That’s an impressive temp too, to say the least. 8 degrees here in CT. at the moment. What an airmass.
  17. Ok, makes sense there. Not arguing that part. The part that doesn’t add up, is the thought(and not from you) that this is some how some sort of new regime, or idea. It is not. Kind of like the whole silly idea the past few years that clippers were a thing of the past. How come no more clippers? Where are the clippers? Well, now they’re back and in abundance once again. Whatever is causing the coastals to not get up here..or amplify close enough to the coast lately(forcing, flow etc etc), for SNE Will at some point change and that will be that. And I Appreciate your insight Ray on these ideas.
  18. Yup. It always has to be a CC attribution with some of these people…what a dam joke.
  19. But that is why the fast flow narrative is flawed…when it is used to say that’s why no coastals for SNE. Because if that was the case, there’d be zero coastals, and there’s a nice one going on tonight. The reason it’s not getting to us is more than just one single thing. And those things at some point will correct themselves, and put us back in the coastal business. You’re right, It’s not permanent. And it’s not the (only) reason why we haven’t had a good coastal. And Of course it’s happened before.
  20. I know this …but there in lies the point.
  21. It’s not dormant…look at Virginia/the Carolinas , the mid Atlantic..it’s not dormant for them. Sometimes shit just comes together to freeze out a region from time to time, or over a certain period. That too will change at some point.
  22. Yet, the forcing works for other regions.? Bad luck is the real issue…just random BS bad luck. It happens. Shit happens. It’s never just one thing.
  23. Ya, fast flow only hurts Southern New England…it’s comical. Everywhere else it isn’t a problem. Hmmm?
