  1. Dude..when others quote, I see it. So sometimes I have to push back on the stupidity. Most times I don’t.
  2. There was one earlier in the season…where we thought that too, and she went poof once inside of 6-7 days. Euro had it for like one to two runs, but GFS had it for like 4-5 runs. Don’t think it had the tele support..think it got squashed south.
  3. Don’t you worry about that. Go fix the sensor at BDL.
  4. Now you sound even more silly. And 17 days is close to 3 weeks…and the post you were replying to said a 3 week whoop ass window. And too bad Mother Nature doesn’t care about some man made date that is just used for tidy record keeping. Nice try though.
  5. A month from now it’s still not spring…might want to brush up on your seasonal arrivals.
  6. Fuck the Euro..model sucks ass period.
  7. Ya..we had some ice last Thursday…everything glazed decently. But he is talking Ice Storm…power crushing grid failures is what he’s looking for. Very rare indeed.
  8. Shoot all the models..keep the AI.
  9. Well to be fair..we had alot of them for a long time…much more than any ice storm.
  10. Late 80’s into the the very early 90’s were horrific…everything would fail. Then Feb 93 it seemed like we started to come back. Maybe the come back kind of started with the December of ’92 storm that season…? But then Feb 93 started to wake up. Let’s hope we can mimic something like that being we’re kind of in a similar place with things finding ways to fail.
  11. Great description Will. Thanks. Makes perfect sense. Can’t seem to catch a good nuance.
  12. Understood. But the temps have to be at least that for those dew points to happen. But I get it.
  13. Exactly. I think those who think it’s nape season should go and lay out on their decks in banana hammocks and oil, and see how red they get. Please report back.
  14. It has many times this season…so that’s quite possible.
  15. Sadly this weekend looked big at first too, and mid last week, this Thursday looked good too. Anyway, a lot of those on the 20th are powerful storms too.
  16. Dew can’t be higher than the temp.
  17. Right behind you with close to 19”(18.75”). Need another 6-7” to tie/beat last season. I’m thinking I can do that with it being only 2/10.
  18. How far up into Maine? That will change on the Euro though, especially for NNE imo.
  19. Great for the 20th though..lol… but that’s clown range. Although it does have some support from the tele’s. But it’ll change and be gone next run. Im at just shy of 19” so far this year. Finished with 25” last year. But I gotta be honest, this season looks and feels like real winter. I’ll take this anytime. Ya..it’s been frustrating, but the cold has been there. Local skiiing is as good as it gets. So it’s not all bad. I still feel I will surpass last seasons 25”(only need 7 more inches), and on 2/10 that shouldn’t be too hard imo.
  20. The sad part is…the nice weather to be outside is months away really…this winter isn’t gonna let you/us out early the way it looks now. Cold has been the theme, and continues to look that way for quite a while. Only a third through Feb…spring is a ways off, and an early transition doesn’t look to be in the cards. Suffering is where this is going.
  21. Anything beyond 4-5 days is an unknown…tomorrow(Tuesday night) for the south coast crew, and more south of there. Thursday is still a toss up on what really happens. Saturday looks bad for SNE now…but can we really trust that look on Monday here? And beyond Saturday… flip a coin.
  22. Heading up North(Far N Maine) for the long weekend early Saturday morning…looks like it should be a good hit up there.
