Huh….? You are wrong. 2025-2026 winter was pretty dam good, two blizzards(one with single digit temps of 5-6 degrees), a 12/26 evening 9”er also with frigid temps. and very good cold all season..with good pack….that was pretty dam good imo.

Most weenies can remember the big seasons…I’m kind of surprised he didn’t realize that…even knowing he doesn’t do well with specific years.

It wasn’t horrid…you asked for both, one was fabulous. One not so much. But there was a good event in December of 1996, and then the April fools big one. It’s a crapshoot all the time..so no rhyme or reason really. What’s happening tomorrow has zero bearing on what happens 6-7 months from now.

Your memory is horrible I know…but 10-11 was incredible(fabulous for CT) so we take that anytime. Amazing you didn’t remember 10-11? December 2010 had a Boxing Day blizzard(heart of it was SW), then a huge Norlun, and then two more full blown blizzards. Roofs all caving in by late January that year 2011. Massive pack. Awesome.

Dew-point is 67 here, starting to ramp up now. Getting ready for tomorrow’s big heat.

We did this year.

Got the same exact grill…but has a stainless steel top, instead of black. Have had it for 10 years, and we replaced only the triangle burner covers, and that’s it. Thing is top notch, and wears like iron. Love it.
