    2.5" of beaten down snow/sleet, total in Cazenovia. Incredible job by the RGEM, And the NAM wasn't bad either, two days out.

    Heard a few pings on the window...went outside... and just like that....I now have 50/50 snow/sleet ....ugh!!!

    Tomorrow morning in CNY, many will be saying "what storm?".... But I think we salvage a wintery scene by mid afternoon through Tuesday.

    I think it's a bit over amped....but seeing all the models show some mixing, at some point over just about everywhere north and west of the storm track, gives me pause from going with big totals region wide.

    This is a really tough forecast, obviously. I think most of Central New York becomes a sleet fest after 2 AM. In Western New York, I do believe some sleet will mix in... Keeping totals down a bit from what is currently modeled. I tried to pick a time when I thought the synoptic system was done, and true lake-effect kicks in..... This forecast is for the synoptic system only.

    I think for areas Southeast of lake Ontario, there will be a decent amount of lake effect snow for some areas through Tue. morning. 4-8" as a first guess..
