  1. I'm with you on this one. This is definitely something that people will want to prepare for. There are people alive today that have never experienced a storm of this magnitude!
  2. Happens all the time with storms like this one. Some will get 12-18" and some could get 30+ if the models continue to support be that possibility.
  3. Yes. That's the one. There will be a couple of smaller events as well during the upcoming week that are going to give most in SNE 100% of their yearly snow when you add them together.
  4. Game is not over. By a long shot. This year is considerably different than last Winter. You have heights in the West. Just need a slight shift of the trough in the East.
  5. That's looking very possible right now.
  6. Yes. The remainder of January could be memorable.
  7. Yup. Things are going are real here very soon!
  8. I had mentioned this to a friend of mine a couple of months ago when we were having drier and warmer weather here in the Boston area. What I felt would happen in January & February is now starting to show in the models.

  12. Winter is NOT cancelled. This is going to be the one that performs few but large snowstorms. They will be very cold storms as well. With some melts in between. It won't be one of those cold and snow, deep pack specials. That's all.
  13. Has been sleet pellets and freezing rain for several hours in Reading, MA and is now starting to snow a bit. The driveway is a sheet of ice.
