  6. well this is odd, was mostly snow now we've turned to snow/sleet ping ping
  7. It's still very warm here with mainly all snow. 35/36F. It's going to be hours before the roads start getting coated. Still thinking 2-4 here with a coating on the roads, may end up being just wet.
  8. i figured wed lose a lot that models are counting as snow. Just too warm initially its snowing in a lot of places that are 34-37F
  9. RPM giveth, then takeitawayith, then giveth, then takeitawayith, then giveth...settling on 2-4 for the state with a sliver of 4-6 over central southern CT
  10. Snowing finally, radar looks good, models look good. Think most are good for 2-5
  11. I'm liking my map right about now. Looks good for 2-4 for most of CT spot 5.
  12. 46 and light rain. This "storm" isn't big enough to have a seperate obs thread so just continue to post em here. Unless mods want to seperate.
  13. I used 22Z on the HRRR, and it's 10:1 not kuchera. If that is 10:1 then the hour is off or the run is off because here is the same run as TT, 22Z at 18 hours and shows more than your picture.
  14. Soon. I bet theres some flakes flying in the NW hills of Norfolk by now. Anybody from the hills with obs?
  15. ECMWF juiced up a bit for CT, improved from 12Z. Looks good.
  16. I can't argue with that, i was debating going down to 1-3 but decided to stay at 2-4, im liking what im seeing with the radar, model trends and obs right now.
  17. Mt. Tolland jacking every run..Kevins been running the HRRR this storm
  18. FINAL CALL: Not much change at all, bumped up numbers in Litchfield hills. Still thinking a greater accumulation away from the immediate coast. Interested to see how this plays out. Radar looks bueno.
  19. HRRR bumping up little by little each run is nice to see.
