  1. It's all done now. 15 minutes of moderate to boarderline heavy snow and snow grains. Just over a coating. 0.3" total. Whitened things up a bit. Skys already clearing sun is out. I took my drone up and captured some cool videos though

  7. Thank you i appreciate the acknowledgement. Think it was a B/B- for both Ice and Snow. I was tempted to go up and seriously considering it but after many mesos started backing down the front end thump and warming mid levels i held off. Interestingly this was my first call as well. Funny it was literally the lowest snowfall forecast out there and it was STILL too high in N 1/3 of CT. I didn't want to shave that 2-4 down though because at least that looked like a reasonable call, even with the trends.
  8. It's gonna be hilarious when most get more snow today than they did from yesterday's storm.
  9. Shortfuse snowfall map created, because why not. Heavy snow approaching New Haven county right now.

  15. Not really... Steady returns right over me. The main slug moved east of CT, yes, but its not completely done. Although, we did transition from freezing rain to sleet now and it's moderate.

  19. This just happened, Stratford was in the green with 1 person without power now it's 1,050 without power.
  20. Still warm at the shore, they are getting spared any more damage for the time being. Lots of >=33F readings in interior E CT as well. SE MA all above freezing. Toasty on the Vineyard & Nantucket.
  21. It's the old adage....why do people love watching train wrecks (literal) and car crashes. Most people don't want to see anyone hurt, but we just can't look away. It's human nature.
