  1. Bite the bullet and get it fixed. They’ll numb it with some lidocaine and you won’t feel a thing. You don’t want a lingering infection in your feet.
  2. I read this morning that Simon Properties that own malls in 37 states (13 here in Massachusetts) will still require employees and customers to wear masks. Malls are dying anyway. I can't see how this will do much more than kill them even further.
  3. Jeffery Toobin should have taken lessons.
  4. I'd like to go back in time to 1968 and buy a decent gas can with out all the safety crap. Our buy an ice cream sandwich I had when I was a kid that the cookie part tasted good because it had trans fat in it. Or Hunts snack pack in a metal can with a pull top lid. Tasted better. Metal can and trans fat MMMmmmm Or better yet, take me to 1955 and just drop me off. I'd be dead by the time Reagan left office. Bout right.
  5. Another excuse to "work from home"
  6. Mr. Chambers, don't get on that ship! The rest of the book, To Serve Man, it's... it's a cookbook!
  7. First contact day isn't until April 5th, 2063. Maybe it gets moved up.
  8. As long as they are green Orian women and not nasty klingons or romulans
  9. My company is keeping masks for now unfortunately. But I think the rapid “demasking” caught companies by suprise. We were told to expect to have 100% back to work and 100% occupancy by fall. Reading the tea leaves, I think they’ll drop the masks in another month or so.
  10. You guys and your shit coins. I’ll admit I know squat about crypto. Give me caterpillar, or some biotech. Back in the 90’s, any biotech you looked at would make money. Some of that stuff split 2 and 3 times over a couple of years time. By 2001-2002, if they didn’t have anything to actually sell except a wing and a prayer, they crashed hard. I’ve done ok with some Alnylum I bought early on. I know the CEO and figured they would do ok. I missed out on Moderna. Dumb ass me. Bancel is a little strange so I wasn’t sure of what they had. If this pandemic hadn’t come along, I’m sure Moderna would still be languishing. Stay away from any company that makes any kind of claims with alzhiemers. The biology hasn’t been well worked out at all and I can’t count w many companies have gone broke or whole divisions in big pharma have been whacked because of failures for Alzheimer drugs.
  11. It won’t last. You should be good tomorrow. Which one did you get? I had 3 of my employees get their second one today. I told them take the day if they needed to. I expect to have light crew tomorrow. But all my folks will be fully vaxed. All 11 of us.
  12. Nobody will ask for proof. Do what you want. But I wouldn’t let what everybody else is doing dictate what you do. That’s a personal decision for you and no one else. Some businesses may still require it, but I’m guessing they’ll be few and far between. I know for myself come the 28th, I’m done. Don’t care how many dirty looks I get.
  13. The liquor store and Dunkin probably aren’t requiring it. People just still choose to wear them. Hell, 80% around here still wear them outside. I suspect even with indoor mandates gone, you’ll see people wear them for months more. Of course, the unvaccinated are supposed to keep wearing them. Wink wink nudge nudge.
  14. I see a ton of 30-50 yo women covered with them.
  15. Not sure if it’s true, but supposedly before the crash in ‘29 old Joe Kennedy said if my barber is buying and giving out stock advice, I’m out.
  16. Just don't need his noise, that's all. Life's too short to put up with stuff that annoys you on a freaking blog.
  17. LOL I was a little wasted. But this OSU guy is a real winner. I get tired of his BS. Oh well, he's gone now off my feed. Phin is harmless. I like him. But he's and engineer. I've known a bunch. They're all alike
  18. I thought I had you blocked. For some reason it let you through. you're blocked again. Have a good day.
  19. The routine testing of healthy people needs to end.
  20. My point was TOTAL asymptomatic spread, not presymtomatic. The idea that people were completely asymptomatic throughout the entire course of the disease is what predicated all this mess. We were told that again and again. When you get a med degree, a PhD, and have 30 years experience as a scientist, and know how to read literature, come talk to me. I'm not in the habit of getting my scientific information and analysis from a meteorologist. I'm not going to argue with you. Your're not worth my time and energy. You're good at name calling too. Not the first time you've done it. I told you once to stop engaging me. Now, GFY.
