Gonna be a hot one. Excessive heat warning up for my area. Upper 90's forecasted. Currently it is a miserable 88/81 for a HI at 106. Is it really September? Day 17 with little to no rain.

Picked up .09" last night. Humidity has skyrocketed because of it. Currently 88/81 just before high noon.

Sun finally came out. Hopefully that will help our chances for rain today. Currently at high noon it is 87/78. Picked up only .04" from a fast moving shower.

Currently 91/80 for a HI of 109. High today was 92 and yes the sun did come out.

I think everyone was on the main Laura page, I know I was. Yesterday it took a big nose dive so I left and came back here.

88/80 at noon and cloudy. Supposed to hit 94 today. Unless the sun comes out, I don't see that happening.

Had a high of 90 today. Sunny warm and humid as usual. The NWS finally changed our forecast for Saturday. It held at 20% chance for the last few days and having finally acknowledge the remnants of Laura coming thru with an increase up to 80%.

Another humid day ends. Had a high of 89 and no rain of course.

Very humid today. Earlier at one time it was 86/80. A good storm missed me by about 3 miles. No rain here despite a 60% chance. Currently 80/77.

Ended up with a surprising .01" today from some very light rain. Currently 78/76 just before 6 pm.

Looks like a mini heat wave coming this week. Low 90's for us Tuesday thru Thursday with upper 80's this weekend. No relief until next weekend.

So the last 3 days we have had a 60% chance of rain each day and only picked up .05" total. Now it looks like it is going to be very dry for the next 2 weeks. Stayed cloudy most of the day with a high of 86. Currently 81/76.

Picked up .05" from the dying line of storms this afternoon.

Had a gust front come thru about 40 minutes ago and it dropped the temp from a muggy 80/78 to a pleasant 73/70 in about 15 minutes with winds in excess of 25 mph. No rain so far. Currently 74/70.

Liking these lower dew points, now we only need to get the temps down a bit. Currently 88/70.

What a surprisingly pleasant morning for mid August. Currently at 11:23 am it is cloudy and 75/72 after a low of 71.

2 nice storms came thru today giving me a total of 1.11". A .27" from the first and .84" from the 2nd. I am now at 7.06" for the month with 2 weeks left to go.

Ended up with 1.29" yesterday. Waiting to see what we get today with a 100% chance of rain. Currently cloudy and 81/79.
