After yesterday's deluge, currently we are beginning to dry out and it is a rather cool 63/61.

Ended the day with 4.56". I cannot remember the last time I got that much rain in one day that wasn't associated with a hurricane.

Forecasted to get down to 35 here Tuesday morning which means most points west and north of us should get at least a frost if not a freeze Tuesday morning. Going from A/C on Thursday to heat on Monday. Wow.

Get some firecrackers. If you see the bear fire some in it's general direction and absolutely keep no food where it can get it. Hopefully the firecrackers will scare it away and it will not come back.

Get the tent. If it doesn't rain at least you will have shade from the sun.

I would not worry about patio furniture unless winds would be gusting above 50 mph and only if she has an umbrella that needs to be taken in. And luckily never had to deal with overly concerned family. Sorry you have to go thru that.
