    Picked up .18" from a dying storm after a high of 90.

    Had a very comfortable low of 61 this morning.

    Had a high of 83 after a low of 67. Right now just before 7 pm it is a pleasant 78/57.

    Ended up with 1.27" yesterday and very early this morning. Much more pleasant day today. Had a high of 82/60.

    Had a nice storm come thru but it was short lived. Only picked up .27" but it did drop the temp from 90 to 68 and had some nice wind gusts.

    Already 94/71 just after noon. EDIT: Had a high of 97 today. Highest temp this year.

    First line came thru and dropped a quick .15" with a wind gust to 18 mph and a temp drop from 83 to 74.

    Very nice change of pace for today. Thick cloud cover kept us in the 60's all day. Had a nice cool low of 60 and a high of 68.

    Picked up an additional 1.47" today. This gives me a 2 day total of 2.63" and a monthly total of 5.28".

    Looks like I posted way too soon. Picked up 1.16" from a real nice downpour. That puts me at 3.81" for the month.

    I was up in the Raleigh area today and just missed your storms but did hit 2 torrential rain makers on my way home. Only .01" in myb today.

    Much cooler than expected today as clouds hung in longer. Had a high of 84 after a low of 72. Picked up .01" from a light shower this evening.

    Yesterday had a high of 93 after a low of 74. So far today it has been cloudy which has kept the temp down. Currently at 11:30 it is 78/69.

    Sitting at 92/71 right now. Heat index at 99. We hit 95 at 2:30 and then the sea breeze started kicking in. We are now at 86/69 with a nice southeast breeze.

    Had a high of 93 after a low of 68. Dew point has soared up to 74 which is what it is now with a temp of 87. Both are the highest we have had for this year. Tomorrow is supposed to be worse.

    Picked up 1.31" last night from the severe warned storms. Not much wind in myb though. Dew points are down today and it felt refreshing this morning. Currently 79/57 just after noon.

    Tornado reported on the ground by spotters in New Bern 15 miles from me.

    Low of 65, high of 87. Dew points stayed in the high 60's most of the day. No rain.

    I think it is time to start this thread as the GFS has been showing a storm in the gulf for a few days now at the 8 to 10 day range.
