How of 92. Currently rain with thunder. Edit: picked up another .42". This puts me at 3.75" for the week. Backyard is a soggy mess.

Storms came in and fell apart right before hitting us but we still got a good 4 hour soaker last night. Picked up .48".

High of 95 today. Brutal with the high humidity.

Currently at 2 pm it is 93/79 for a HI of 110. Absolutely miserable outside.

High today of 92. Currently light rain and we have picked up .14" since it started.

Already 91/80 for a HI of 109 at noon. Hoping for some good cooling thunderstorms this afternoon. Edit: High temp was 96. Our highest temp this year. The heat and humidity spawned numerous thunderstorms in our area. We ended up with 1.54" for the day. Edit #2: Another good storm moved in around 10:30 on and dumped .74" giving us a day long total of 2.28".

New month new obs. Post them here. Starting our very warm and humid. Currently just before 11 am it is 84/72 for a HI of 90. and very hazy due to all the smoke.

3rd day in a row of 90+ temps. Already tired of the heat and humidity.

Storms hit here around 1 am. Heavy rain, small hail, and some wind ( probably up to 30 mph ) hit us. Ended up with .78" from it. This puts me at 4.28" for the month.

Yesterday had a high of 91. Today it was 88. Picked up .04" this morning from a brief shower.

We had our first 90 degree day here for the year today as we topped off right at 90. Had a few sprinkles but that was it for rain. Currently at 6:30 pm it is 85/75 for a HI of 93. Summer is here. Edit: Picked up .31" in an after dark surprise rainstorm. That is 5 days in a row that we have had rain.

Picked up a nice .65" this afternoon. This gives me 4 day total of 2.16".

I have a FB friend who is hiking a section of the AT. He is in the middle of VA and has said that for the past three days it has rained, and temps have stayed in the mid 40's all three days. he is ready for warmer weather.

Warm and humid. Currently 82/75. Picked up .31" this morning. EDIT: Picked up a quick .29" this afternoon as a line of fast moving storms moved thru. That gives me a 3 day total of 1.49" of much needed rain.

Just .46" today in the gauge.

Picked up a much needed .43" today. High was 84 after the sun came out this afternoon.

High today of 88 after a low of 66. Still no 90 here.

Depends on what the gauge looks like. The real cheap ones are notorious for being inaccurate. Plus, unless it is in the complete clear with nothing overhead, you will not get an accurate reading. If you cannot afford a professional system, you can buy the CoCoRahs rain gauge for about $40.

High of 88. Dew points in the low 70's made it feel very uncomfortable out there.

High of 88. Dew point near 70 made it feel like summer. Still have yet to reach 90. Hoping to finish up the month without hitting 90. If we don't hit it by Sunday, we will a very good chance to make it to July without a 90 degree day.
