Another warm and humid day here. Currently 83/75. Cannot wait for that cold front coming thru.

My biggest maple has been showing colors and shedding leaves for the past few weeks. I am also thinking it must be all the rain we had the last few months.

One year ago, we had lows in the 50's and highs near 80 with low humidity. Hope we could get a strong cold front soon.

The high humidity certainly paid off in thunderstorms earlier this afternoon. 1.72" was dumped in the bucket. Sun is back out and with that, temp and dew point are going back up. Currently 77/76.

Ughhh. Ultra humid here this morning. Just before noon it is currently 86/80 for a HI of 101. Hoping this leads to some cooling storms this afternoon..

Picked up .18" this morning. Waiting on more. Humid out there today. EDIT: Ended up with .46" for the day.

Comfortable morning to walk the pups in. Cool Northeasterly breeze and temps in the mid 60's was a nice change. Currently just before noon it is 78/70.

Had a great rain today. Ended up with 1.02".

Picked up .64" today from 4 different storms. 1st one missed us and only dropped .02". 2nd one also just missed us but still gave us .09". 3rd dropped .18" and the last one .35".

Looks to be warm and dry today so I will post my monthly stats now. Highest Temp - 99 Lowest Temp - 62 Highest Dew Point - 83 Lowest Dew Point - 57 Rainfall - 6.50"

Low of 70, high of 88. Picked up .18" in the bucket.

Picked up an additional .20" this morning.

Ended up with 2.12" for the day. Now I am at 6.04" for the month and decent chances of rain all week.

Big rains in my area today. Already at 1.94" and steady rain is still falling. This puts me at 5.84" for the month.

August is back for the short term. Currently just after 12:00, it is 83/76 for a HI of 92.

Low of 66, high of 79. Mostly light rain this afternoon with .17" in the bucket. Our wonderful August weather continues.

Low of 63, high of 85 with dew points remaining in the mid 60's much of the day.

Low of 69, high of 85 with dew points in the 60's all day. Can't complain about this weather at all. Hope it continues for rest of the month.

Had another rainstorm move thru and it dropped .39". This gives me a daily total of 1.54" and a monthly total of 3.72".

About half an hour after I posted this, the skies darkened, and the heavens opened up. Picked up 1.15" from a small but heavy rainstorm. No thunder at all.

80% chance of rain last night produced just 0.01". 90% chance today has so far produced nothing. Cloudy and a somewhat comfortable 78/72.

Low of 69, high of 80. Looks like we are not going to get much above 80 for the next 5 days. Unbelievable for mid August.
