the roads here are in pretty good shape, not sure elsewhere.

all DC area school systems are closed... except we haven't heard from DCPS.

so - looks like we'll get real winter about once a decade now.

someone important must live nearby because our streets (43rd St NW and Alton Pl NW) have been plowed continuously. They are both clear.

the snow is REALLY blowing around out there - wouldn't be surprised if we see some ground blizzard conditions tomorrow

yeah - obviously it's warmer. 25 years ago DC is probably in the teens / low 20s during this. But we can still snow.

some light snow has resumed in Tenleytown DC
