    The Mid-Atlantic forum is talking about how the 6z EPS is east of 0z. I don't have maps, but that is what I figured might happen.

    The Euro had some crazy winds once the coastal cranks up, but it tends to overdo winds at the surface. Not sure about other models.

    I think he’s basing that forecast on some in-house model. It’s the only thing that makes sense.

    During PD2, I was away in New Hampshire for the weekend. On the way home, we stopped in Massachusetts overnight and then headed back to Owings Mills. I was driving in the right lane of the beltway and realized the lane was about to end because it has not been plowed! Crazy to think how ill equipped they were for that storm. When we got home to our apartment complex it was like a bomb had gone off. Total chaos. What a storm that was.

    Right. Waaaay too specific. Plus, it looks like, at the moment, what we do get will be snow. The biggest concern is suppression, not rain. Whatever model he’s using is smoking something.
