Absolutely nothing in York or Lancaster counties on my way to work. I think the writing is on the wall when you look at the direction of moisture on the radar.
I think the best thing to do right now is to step back from the model watching and come back after the New Year. I’m just assuming this is a dud winter so any sort of positive change will be a nice surprise. A real nice surprise….
Last year….we had the big storm of snow and sleet around the 16th/17th. It stayed for about 5 days and then got washed away on the 23rd, we torched on the 24th and then the front came through and we had a cold Christmas Day with snow showers.
No doubt we should enjoy the tracking season. And I’m all for getting excited when it’s warranted. My problem is with the snow maps. They are often misleading that far out. I want to see what the overall pattern looks like so we can see how realistic our chances are.
