    My problem is that the GEFS seems to be lagging behind the operational. The op is leading the way, and then the GEFS follow. So I'm glad the GEFS members are not as inland, but I'm not sure it matters.

    Euro still looks good for us, but the trends on the GFS op are not good. Comes more west each time.

    GEFS will tell us more, along with other models which look nothing like the drunk GFS.

    It was yesterday after the Euro run. People were saying it was just cold and dry and boring.

    In my experience, we often get long range outlooks in winter that look super dry and boring, and usually the ground truth is quite a bit different. What I am trying to say is I will take the cold and let the pattern develop. If we have a cold pattern, the snow will come. Maybe not a big storm, but we will get events.
