    It was a miserable game. I’m still drying my bones out.

    Not only do people not understand what storm surge is, it is not emphasized enough. Far too much concentration on wind. Also, the majority of people misunderstand the forecast cone. Most think that black line in the middle is the path and that the expanding cone only means the storm is getting larger as it moves. This led to many being completely unprepared for what happened.

    Question for anyone with an Ambient weather station. My station has stopped recording rainfall. It clicks when you pour water through it but doesn’t record it. All other data is recorded. Any thoughts?

    Everything is moving mostly north to south. Until there are storms north of me I’m out of the game.

    I was dressed for a late season Penn State game at my son’s baseball game.

    This may not be a very popular post, but I am happy to get rain. Even a few inches of wet snow could be damaging to many trees in the area.

    Another issue is why does it have to be above normal for people to consider it spring? 75 is not normal for April.
