I’m dreaming of a White Thanksgiving! Seems like snow on Thanksgiving is easier to get than at Xmas lately. 7” at the stake, about 1” fresh. Very pretty

Not till much later: Rain before midnight, then rain and snow between midnight and 3am, then snow after 3am.

Thought it was pouring rain but then I looked at the skylights and it’s a mix of rain and sleet. I knew those skylights would be good for something. 36.9/31.8

21 degrees and stake at 8". Let's see what the rain does!

Mostly melted off the trees here, but in spite of warm temp the snow stake has only lost an inch (10" to 9"). I hate to admit though, today feels fantastic. Took the opportunity to put out Xmas decorations without freezing my butt off.

We did last year... so it certainly can happen! But Bretton Woods does get torched quite well during cutters, so that can certainly do a lot of damage; the Mount Washington Valley (Bartlett/Jackson/Conway) on the other side of the notch has a shorter snowcover season, but once it gets a good snowpack it's much less likely to get torched away.

Just got into a really heavy band with huge flakes. Every time one lands you can see a small snowball on the surface lol

I was down in North Conway today and it seems so weird that it's completely bare ground there. Living up here the early seasons seem like a different season. Mid winter here, late fall there. Kinda cool for such a short distance. Also interesting to notice that while generally (I assume) much less snowy, Littleton also seems to have a longer snow season than Conway. I love the microclimates of this area. Winter Storm Warnings up. We'll see!

It’s November. I lived in SNE for 20 years and November is not a winter month there. I was always excited that I could drive up North and see some snow... but even that is not always a given in November. I think people need to keep that in mind... winter has not even started yet!
