  1. A bit icy here too, but beautiful day
  2. Eh, don’t let it get to you. We’ll have our chances.
  3. Wintry day for sure with high in the mid teens and flurries continuing.
  4. Cloudy and flurries again. We may never see the sun again lol
  5. Cool snowfall tonight. THe flakes are large perfectly shaped crystals
  6. Haha well it is Black Friday after all!
  7. The flurries seem never ending. Another “mid-winter” appeal day
  8. Interestingly, spent the day in Conway and Mount Wash was completely clear - very pretty to see. Then I get home and it’s still cloudy with flurries. Must be really low level stuff
  9. What a difference a notch makes. Cloudy with flurries at home and full on sunshine on the other side.
  10. Me too! One reason why I love upslope - it seems to do that more than synoptic storms
  11. Won’t be bad here. Grooming plus a fresh coat is just fine.
  12. A few pictures from a walk with the kids in my backyard
  13. Nice fluffy snow falling this morning, about 1/2” so far. Happy Thanksgiving!
  14. 21 degrees and stake at 8". Let's see what the rain does!
  15. Mostly melted off the trees here, but in spite of warm temp the snow stake has only lost an inch (10" to 9"). I hate to admit though, today feels fantastic. Took the opportunity to put out Xmas decorations without freezing my butt off.
  16. Aww wasn’t meant to taunt you! Merely an observation
  17. I was down in North Conway today and it seems so weird that it's completely bare ground there. Living up here the early seasons seem like a different season. Mid winter here, late fall there. Kinda cool for such a short distance. Also interesting to notice that while generally (I assume) much less snowy, Littleton also seems to have a longer snow season than Conway. I love the microclimates of this area. Winter Storm Warnings up. We'll see!
  18. I find you need some really strong winds for it to matter. In most cases the difference is not very noticeable until you get to Whitefield or towards Littleton
  19. Getting some really good snow tonight. Too bad it’s so windy
  20. 0.9" here. Heavy wet stuff but very pretty.
  21. We had a total of 0.8 then rain then 0.25. I guess it adds to 1.05 but it hardly counts. Stake is still at 6" so no net loss nor gain
  22. After some freezing drizzle overnight, measured 0.8" here in the heavier bursts then came down earlier, now just some sloppy flurries. Overall, a whole bunch of nothing.
  23. It doesn't happen often, you are right - although I've certainly seen bare ground this early in the year. The area in front of the camera is also one that clears up the fastest - snow doesn't accumulate much due to wind, and it's in full sun. Although it's not as bad as the golf course, which has bare spots most of the winter lol. It must be the most wind scoured spot in the northern Whites!
