  1. Just measured 1.5" on surfaces that had been cleared this morning, making the total a respectable 8" for today so far. Just light snow now
  2. The squalls have actually gotten more intense tonight here. Looks like we’ve added another inch or so
  3. A reminder that Spring is here, no matter what the weather says!
  4. We had that the night before last. Dropped a quick 1/3"
  5. Brightening up. Looks like 6.5" will be our final tally. Temp up to 30.7/20.3
  6. It's usually early September, but I've seen it as early as August 17 and technically, according to my landscaper, it can happen any month. Mostly because we radiate so well
  7. That's depressing... But true! And just over 3 months to the first frost. Such a short summer!
  8. It's not warming up at all. Kinda wild to have icicles from the roof in May in the middle of the day
  9. Started as light snow here just a few minutes ago
  10. We are getting occasional snow showers in the middle of the day in between sunny breaks... Definitely seems colds enough!
  11. Alternating sun and snow showers in the middle of the day in May. Oy vey
  12. Woke up to some light accumulations
  13. I guess the answer was yes
  14. Light snow currently here
  15. We had 0.3" of glop overnight, then on and off light snow all day with no accumulation
  16. Yeah I thought that would probably be the case. They gave me permission to mow a path in the bird sanctuary in front of my house at one point, but that's different. I'll give them a call next week and see what they say! I'm other news, just started raining
  17. Well yes I definitely wouldn't do without approval. Mostly wondering how hard it is to get approval
  18. Unless the reason is that nobody cares but me since the trails would really only be accessible from my house... And the NFS doesn't have enough volunteers as it is to maintain the existing trails
  19. Does anyone know what the rules are for clearing trails in National Forest? We took a walk this morning from the back of my house up towards the upper chair at West Mountain (all National Forest land), and it turns out there are what looks like old trails that are overgrown but have clear signs of human activity (chainsawed trees) and even from satellite images you can see paths that are cleared heading up the mountain. I was wondering what the laws are on cleaning up some of these trails? It was very a very cool walk - plus if I went all the way I could ski all the way back lol
  20. I'm under a WSW, but the P&C says 1-3"
