  1. Same here. Actual legit fat flakes that stack up easily, and pretty widespread. It was even a big more in Littleton than here! It's funny that this period of no weather whatsoever is turning out cloudy with daily flurries. We've managed to see no sun in a week lol
  2. Mother nature teasing us again with the nightly dusting. What a b---
  3. Keep em coming. So cool. Just overcast here, with light snow showers/flurries
  4. Nice snowy evening after all, even if accumulations are light. Renters across the street are hanging out by the fire pit in the snow, it's so cute to see people come up here and think they're in an awesome snowy pattern when for us it sucks lol
  5. In a regular year, you don't even need to fear the cutters that much. They often end up resulting in a net gain between front end and upslope. But that's not been the story recently. Occasionally you get into these patterns that bring 1-3" every day for a few weeks, and it feels like quiet weather because of the lack of big storms until you realize 2 weeks later that you now have a really deep pack. I love when that happens!
  6. The rime is also adding to the vibe lol
  7. It would be much better for skiing if there were a deeper base to open up glades etc. But they did open up some natural trails today. And I agree, the vibe is still full on winter. If there is snow on the trees, I'm happy.
  8. 0.4 overnight with a few flakes falling. Now let the drought begin
  9. It's snowing the finest snow ever (and I don't mean as in "this is a fine snowfall). it's like diamond dust
  10. Nice views here too. Not quite as undercast though.
  11. That's beautiful PF! So, since nobody cares in the other forums... what's the thinking on upslope this week? Looks like we are mostly out of synoptic threats, but with low pressure heading up the GoM I would think there is some upslope chances. Gyx doesn't seem enthusiastic. Thoughts?
  12. Was out skiing so haven't followed the storm evolution much - plus nobody cares about upslope in the main thread. It stopped snowing for a while but now it's back to SN+. Is this upslope? Radar seems clear which would indicate upslope but the wind seems from the east which is not an upslope direction (also not sure how reliable of an observation that is since there is no wind at all)
  13. Just got back from skiing. It stopped for a while, and now it's back to light/moderate snow, 32/27
  14. We start the New Year with a Winter Storm Warning. That's gotta be a good omen
  15. Don’t forget the sun angle. Been increasing for days.
  16. I agree. Lots of people but it doesn't feel unsafe at all; of course, I never go into the lodge except for the Club (the "bubble") and the new one at top. But even up there the tables are spaced well, I don't see much of an issue. BWC is totally worth it if you can fit it in your budget. I love being able to store my stuff there - and the boots are nice and toasty when you get in them, and while I didn't care of skipping lines before having kids since we always just skied midweek, now with kids it makes a huge difference. They do have a bit of a waiting lists - friends of ours had to wait about a year, but it probably is different now.
  17. Skiing was actually really fun today; fast, slick but not at all icy. Long lines at the lifts though... makes the Bretton Woods Club worth every penny! @PhineasC if you ski BW a lot you should definitely consider it. Too bad that the natural base is so bad. Next week would have been a great ski week otherwise - fresh snow, and perfect temperatures... Hopefully we get enough to open some more natural trails and glades up.
  18. Same here. The overnight snow turned to slop. Just another FU from 2020 lol
  19. Coming down nicely. Looks like about 1/2"
  20. Actually picked up fast, already a solid coating on the shoveled area of the deck
