    Speaking of southern stream...do you think that stays active like it has been so far? I always like to see the gulf doing things in the winter, and the modeling doesn't seem to have any shortage of waves coming from there. But I could be looking at it wrong too, lol

    So if we're talking about a timing difference...I'm wondering if there's a scenario where the models don't resolve that until the pieces are here on like Wednesday.

    One thing for sure though...to my amateur eyes the next couple weeks look cold and active on these models with the gulf looking open for business. Me thinks we'll have other chances even if this one doesn't work out...what say you?

    The last time you said that that GL low screwed us over in March 2018 and in fact did NOT get out of the way...I remember that post distinctly for some reason, lol I'd rather not have to root for that...because that seems to be a chaotic needle thread that we don't do well.

    Agreed. I had about 4.5 before ULL 5.5 afterwards* Slightly disappointed but I just had a beautiful Jebwalk--that was quite rewarding! *Non-professional measurements, lol

    Wow...I got over an inch from the ULL! At least that puts over the top for warning criteria And...it made for a beautiful and peaceful Jebwalk

    This afternoon I measured about 4" (no snow board just grass, lol). With this band this evening it could be up to 4.5 or 5"
