  1. Yo why does he look like a really bad lawyer here, hahaha
  2. Nothing is officially off the table at the start of February. To my amateur eyes, it doesn't look like an all-out torch right now...So all it would take is a couple more minor events and perhaps a moderate event for most to get to climo around here.
  3. Huh...I don't even remember having a ton a melting. I shoveled around noontime and I still measured a foot. I was happy with that, lol
  4. Well as far as the "March fetish" is concerned, you gotta remember HIS climo. He can score in March much easier than other parts of the sub, so if there bias there that's why, lol
  5. I'm assuming you're referring to the storm where 95 got like 14 inches and N & W got like 2 feet?
  6. So another episode of can-kicking in the right direction, eh? I mean wow how refreshing is that? Lol Interesting...
  7. Ah okay--the date at the top threw me off my bad, lol
  8. Man I thought you were talking about end of next week, lol
  9. Despite some success, what is it with this winter and the held back vorts? Feels like we've seen saying this every event we've tracked!
  10. Just think of how long it's been since that happened (2014?)
  11. And not to mention...it was the absolute easiest storm to track ever, lol I mean I remember 7 days of unusual model agreement saying "Yerp, it's gonna snow, gonna snow big". But there was somehow, still hand wringing over whether there would be mixing or not (guilty) and whether it be 18 inches or 24!! So even the easiest track to a big one we were still doing what we do best, lol But yeah, I look at the shovel I use now and I had brought it for that storm...fun times!!
  12. Maaaaan when has late Feb (that is after PD) EVER been interesting?
  13. Yeah being missed to N & W feels like climo (still kinda sucks but you get it). But being missed to the south many times in a row feels like a troll, lol Because you know it's not your elevation, it just didn't get to ya for no reason whatsoever. @Fozz Like I've said before, for once I'd like to NOT have to practice gratitude and settling for getting a fringe amount! But, what can ya do but try to enjoy it anyway...
  14. Yeah this one hurts a bit...to see dang NO get 8 inches when I haven't gotten that in 8 years...yeah that stings. But to quote @Kmlwx weather doesn't care our feelings, unfortunately! It's just a slot machine...no we're due index, lol
  15. What's going on out there that causes these southern shortwaves to just meander and meander like that?
  16. Oy...given what's happened imby the last 9 years, that stings. But I'm happy for them to be able to see a rare event, tho! That is amazing
  17. My thoughts exactly, smh Glad folks down there are getting a rare, magical experience, man that stings See I don't think anybody in this sub has had it worse than our yards...for me I haven't seen anything about 7" of snow since 2016. You gotta believe at some point it'll even out...for now we have to practice gratitude and enjoy the scenery we have But dang it that's hard to do some days when ya see something like this! Oof.
  18. A grammarian case study: Punctuation matters!
  19. He wasn't saying that--he left out a comma (or maybe a dash?), lol He meant "The best thing going for us--Monken--is most likely leaving"
  20. I'm still a little unclear about the STJ. So, we've had seveal southern waves this year...but those are NOT stj but something else? If am active gulf not always an "stj" per se?
  21. Oh shoot...yes without the comma there brain filled in the "best thing we have going for us IS Monken is most likely leaving". Totally misread it--my bad! And yeah man...Monken never struck me as a head coaching type, but, his resume the last 4 years with us and Georgia is quite tempting, I'd imagine. Oof...I hope he stays. It would royally suck to lose MacDonald one year and him the next, smh
  22. That is not the best thing...Look at Lamar's numbers under him: He hit career highs! He got more control of the offense too. The offense has been Top 2 or 3 in the league both years. Monken screwed up last year's playoffs; you can't say the same this year. 24 runs, 18 passes, balanced game in slick conditions. So I don't know what Monken did this year to say that him leaving makes us better. He sure as heck didn't lose us the game tonight!
  23. An interesting perspective from someone who covers the Ravens who knows ball:
