Yeah I feel your pain on Monday (obviously, lol). I was so close that my reporting station got 4.5 more inches--so I feel ya! Being that close bothers me more than, say, Boston getting shellacked. But last night was a salve for that...just what the doctor ordered (along with the potential shown in the LR!)

Hey what did my other Balt. City peeps measure last night? I went to bed around 3:30 or so so I didn't get a measurement before any compaction. Measured 4.0" even on the steps but 3 on the landing. What did you guys measure? It was an awesome few hours! Snow-globe fatties

Ohhh yes. First snowstorm that I can remember...but since I was just five I don't remember TOO much (I do remember my mom saying at first that the snow was too deep for me, and that it would be up to my chin, lol)

Yeah it depends on where it transfers. When it happens at our latitude as opposed to just south (like around VA or may northern NC), then yes, dry spots will happen. So when ya say "transfer"...ya want it just south, lol
