Hey I'm not even mad at mext week's threat failing (was a tad annoyed but that's it. I wasn't too far in on investinf) as much as WHY it's failing. I'm worried about little to no snow in future years, every January looking like this, and no positive admist the more normal usual ways we fail. Like even if it was just A bad season, that would be one thing. But now this could be all future winters. Like legit the main thing to look forward to in DJF ain't gonna be there even as occasional as it was. Thanks for telling me about the app, snowen...will definitely consider making use of it.

I've already lost productivity this week. Even right now there's something I really need to do but I'm stuck thinkin' about this mess now just because I peeked back in for a few minutes. Now I'm depressed again and can't focus.

I don't wanna hear another complaint about threads being unreadable--there is literally nothing to discuss of any weather importance to anybody in terms of the next week or to. We got every right to rant and rave now in whatever thread (again, nothing in the immediate to discuss). If this is our future then we all need time to process it. And yes, ranting is a part of that. May as well let it all out!

Alright so it doesn't work anymore. I'm not sure it's gonna take any longer explanations to explain that further. We're screwed for the future, the entire continent is the south now. Got it. For no reason other than a weenie gut feeling (no doubt influenced in part by 'nac and our history of snows AFTER the 15th) I still believe in that late Jan/early Feb period. It may take about that long (or maybe a week before) to get some kind of favorable change enough to get a window.

Why not just...let it play out more?

All that. We're getting less. More seasons like the last 6...more...of this. Stuff that worked growing up not working anymore. It's not just this fail, but the prospect of fewer snowy winters in the future...frickin' depressing. I can take a bad season, but not the prospect having even MORE like this. And going up north might not even help--look at them right now! Basically living with little to no snow...don't even know if I can be happy like that, tbh Probably can but it'll take getting used too.

I did just go out for a walk for the first time in 3 months...helped a bit. Still brooding about snow the whole time though, lol But it was kinda nice...
