  1. I'm with ya Ji!! (piano and guitar are in harmony this time ) Been liking this period for awhile...of course I could be biased cause of the 'nac...BUT any favorable shift you'd think would take about that long to produce something (even if the window is brief) We shall see...
  2. Ah you right that's not bad at all...12z GEFS looks decent at that period as well. Too busy looking at the very last hour of the run, lol Would love to get this to move up in time.
  3. Where are you seeing that? End of the runs last night and today showed more of the same, didn't they?
  4. How is talk of the base state not be equated to the future? When you say stuff like "If we're gonna need all this to work for snow then we're screwed"...I mean that IS talking about the future snow prospects, ain't it?
  5. Hey look! Flurries Ya know how bad it's been when you're genuinely surprised to see something frozen, lol Tbh I don't know if I even believe it CAN snow anymore...now get me a snow above my heels and I'll be a believer again, lol
  6. Not true at....when the west/Midwest is seeing above average snow and were in shutout modre...its all about the pattern. The whole country can't be cold and snow This. Now I struggle with this concept too. Now...for those areas with elevation, it makes sense. But a possible warmer base state don't make sense when Seattle got more snow than we did a few winters ago. Or when Texas froze while we torched. The combo of things getting warmer yet that happening I can't quite square. Not saying things aren't warmer, I just don't get why places even with our middling elevation have done snow and cold more often than we have the last 7 years.
  7. Well I can't speak for everybody, but...one reason it may start a back and forth is because we are already suffering in a crappy pattern--that’s the here and now reality. So now here comes someone not just occasionally, but EVERY day every post remind us it's not just crappy now but will be crappy in the future. I don't dispute your stats and I don't have THAT many arguments...but again we are suffering here, and the EVERYDAY reminder of a potential crappy future ain't helping the vibe in here like at all. The crappy present is enough to deal with on it's own, lol
  8. This. And honestly, for me, it ain't even have an issue with the numbers/stats about how things have changed...it looks like they have--unpleasant but legit observation. Fine-- But when it's repeated over and over and over and over day after day--when things in the here and now are already crappy, what does that help? Yes, things aren't the same...we got that. But like...when we sittin' in a crappy snow drought, who honestly wants to see 5 long posts, EVERY day, not just about how it is now but how it'll potentially be worse in the FUTURE? Bad for the vibe. Informative, numbers driven (all fine by themselves), but for right now? Salt in the wound, imo May be more peaceful if we had a few doses less of those posts.
  9. 0z GEFS SE ridgey looking more flatty again See if we can get a trend going...
  10. You must something of a classical music nerd--ya nailed the date (I'm actually mad I didn't know that off-hand, lol)
  11. I'm starting to wonder whether the period after D10 might be the time to look at to see if we can get a change...(or if whatever happens D10 can lead to something). I mean ain't no promises, of course...just wondering.
  12. Ya can't Tellamann his instrument isn't attractive and not expect a comeBach
  13. How could I have responded better? Felt I had to defend myself
  14. I didn't think it was. I thought he set out to insult me in humiliating fashion because I mocked his "Go back to the piano dude" comment the other day (which I thought was unwarranted) by saying "Go back to the guitar". He got me back with a good humiliation with that response, so I gotta give him credit lol
  15. Dang that was humiliating...I knew my go back to the guitar snap back was gonna backfire somehow, lol
  16. Man we at 0.0" of snow right now--there ain't no rails till we get a flake, lol This oughta be the wild west till' we do!
  17. Lol BTW I was just mentioning probably the most famous "girl heart throb" pianist being Franz Liszt, lol
  18. More I think about it...actually pretty well. Just the other day in fact...got the attention of one of the aides (young) at a school gig as I was just playing around with a song on the keyboard. There have been a couple other instances. So attraction is quite relative...only thing this proves is stereotypes that aren't really true. For some women playing an instrument at all can be an attraction, for some not so much. It all depends.
  19. Not true. I know three--two married (not to cats but actual women) and one getting close. Not true at all. So @Jiya couldn't be more wrong
