Hello SS14. I believe JB is an able Meteorologist. Unfortunately he allows his desire to overwhelm the logic of reality. S19 is quite the opposite; the reality of our situation, atmospherically will always supersede his desire. That desire occasionally peeks out. I’ve caught it, however it will never, in his case, super cede the ongoing atmospheric/pattern. Stay well, as always ….

Good morning GaWx. The key to understanding in your post is to look but not hang on the long range and the other key is *fwiw*. You can always look at a respected model showing a serious situation 10 days out. My understanding of the two keys puts the modeled result in perspective. Well done! Stay well, as always

If there’s an illegal dumping of little blue pills in the Atlantic our Hurricane contest list will probably be subpoenaed. Stay well, as always …..

Tip, I wanted to respond to a post of yours that apparently is no longer here. It was, I think, about a 3 day beach vacation plus a hurricane plus a third day activity. I want to say, nothing can convince me that you would have waited till the third day. Please stay refreshed, as always ….

I appreciate the metaphor and thank you BW. It makes a lot more sense and is appreciated at my skill set then I imagine it would be to the professional Meteorologist. Stay well, as always …..

Good morning Rob, FPizz. This type of day, for me, is a t shirt sunny side of the street, late morning walk. Stay well, as always ….. -
NWS/NOAA from 01:51 to 19:51; Central Park recorded 1.69 inches of rain. Still raining on the postage stamp. As always ……

Gravity, I always wanted to exist in a place where I could look out and see the ocean then turn around and see mountains in the distance. Maine would be my choice. Perhaps the rapidity of the changing climate zones will make Maine a viable option. With a good partner and the time to enjoy …. I somehow think ‘too cold’ will never be a problem for both of you. Good morning S19. I’ve thought of you as a conscience that would often help keep our cold season optimism in check. And all you’ve done is use the facts of the atmosphere to temper our dreams with cautious reality. You are shoulder to shoulder with other well versed members and professionals in our forum. As such you may be a target. For those of us who benefit from the discourse, please, please stand firm above it and continue to post. Stay well and thank you for what you’ve contributed. As always …

Good morning and a fine photo, k. I was always fascinated by mushroom/fungus growth. The one place in my postage stamp yard that I can enjoy them is an old oak stump that is keeping them well nourished. Stay well, as always …

Good evening Cobalt. If we must be weenie victims, it’s best to be in the company of the professional and well versed posters that have also received them. Chessco may never move beyond his beliefs but he never, at least from what I’ve seen, moves from the civility of three dimensions to the less desirable two. greenskeeper uses the weenie as his post and reply. Reacting to it negatively is probably the desired outcome. Other than creating a weenie to post limit use, it will remain just a free meme to use. Stay well and your point/observation was in that sense valid. As always ….

60’s and 70’s, yes and I also spent up to age 12 in the 50’s. Newspapers, TV (if you had one) and radio was your major 50’s news/information source. Out front, out back, the street for stickball was our summer joy, warm or hot just as long as you were out. Winter just like today, in the five boroughs, was pray for snow. I remember considering it a win if the ground was covered. We made due with slush balls as necessary but damn a direct hit was not pleasant. Basic memories of an old guy brought to the surface by a simple sentence. Thank you Dendrite, as always …..

Actually Liberty, considering my skill set compared to yours and the majority of posters on the forum, it was an accomplishment for me to properly use google search. Thank you though for the kind words. As always …..
