  1. 44° rain Very interesting there’s been hardly any wind at all tonight
  2. 29° and occasional flurries, picked up about another inch after clearing everything off, I think the biggest surprise was the wind that picked up very quickly around 8:30 Last night and kept up until 4 o’clock this morning, Storm total just about a foot
  3. 7.25” Total snow, 28° still snowing quite hard
  4. About 6.50” total so far, strong NE wind causing drifting issues with measuring, moderate to heavy snow 28°
  5. Steady wind driven moderate to heavy snow for the last 45 minutes, approximately 4.25” 28° snowing very hard at the moment
  6. Steady moderate snow for the last hour, trying to measure is almost a joke because of the wind, best guess is 1.75” 28°
  7. 28° and light wind driven snow, ground is covered appears to be about 0.5” difficult to tell as wind has really increased in the last hour ENE 28mph, Higher gusts
  8. From the Granville MA East Hartland line down to Barkhamstead there was about an inch or so In that event before Thanksgiving
  9. I was in Murrells Inlet South Carolina for the 2017 eclipse and we had 99% totality which is nothing like complete totality, it was impressive but just down the road in Georgetown it was 100% total and the difference really is like night and day, if everything works out right I would like to be near San Antonio next year
  10. I will be happy with any kind of frozen precip, came up from South Carolina last week and the only thing I’ve seen in the frozen department is a tiny bit of graupel and extremely light flurries this afternoon. Briefly considered doing a victory dance
  11. 34° at 12:55am, high temperature yesterday 12-6-23 was 56° low was 40° pretty good NW breeze made it feel cooler in Pawleys Island SC
  12. I’ll take a snow storm any time of the year however just from memory it does seem that October snow storms tend to be followed by fairly warm winters whereas cold Octobers tend to be followed by cold winters, strictly from memory
  13. what are the chances of a landfall between Georgia and North Carolina?

  14. Hurricanes are no fun. I spend a lot of time in Pawleys Island SC and anything over a 2 would create tremendous destruction and if the storm was to recurve and hit CT here on top of the hill in Barkhamsted there would most likely be serious destruction and the surge along the LI sound shoreline would probably take years to repair
  15. Facebook opinions mean nothing, as the saying goes everybody has one, delete the account and don’t worry about people who have too much time on their hands, you won’t be missing a thing, there’s a product called Indows and they make a version specifically for noise, just measure and they will send you a perfect fit that installs in minutes
  16. 30° and flurries, 16” of heavy wet snow
