on my way back to South Carolina and coming down route 8 through Thomaston pretty good snow squall that’s not showing up on radar, I guess it’s getting me ready for the five or 6 inches of snow forecast for North Myrtle Beach
Been out plowing all day in Hartland Granby and Canton and North Granby had the most at 20 inches with North Canton and Hartland at 18” there was a slight coating of freezing rain from sometime overnight in Hartland this morning.
7° NE wind @ 20mph gusting over 30 and snow is heavy again after being lighter for about an hour, drifting is making it a challenge to get an exact measurement, the average is between 12 and 14 inches.
4° and heavy snow, hard to get a exact measurement but it’s between seven and 8 inches. A consistent NE 15-20 mph wind gusting over 30, my estimate as don’t have an anemometer, almost whiteout conditions.
flying from Myrtle to Bradley tonight, perfect timing for the storm, was just in Food Lion in Little River SC and there were lines at every register because there might be some slush over the weekend
33° and has been snowing very lightly on and off all day. Above 900 feet or so about a half inch, looks nice sticking to the trees, barely an inch on the ground so if it makes it through tomorrow technically I guess it’s a white Christmas in Hartland
