It could be worse. I left South Carolina yesterday morning hoping to see 5 to 6 inches in East Hartland today. By the time I got here at 2:30 this morning it looks like maybe about an inch and a half slush, but hey, at least I got to see some frozen slush mounds at the rest area in Pennsylvania! -
yes but thankfully The Old farmers almanac will still be going strong, the forecasts are for entertainment but the gardening tips and astronomical information is top-notch and they have some of the best calendars I’ve seen.

Non event here so far. -
It’s still early but that is a ominous potential track

Could you guys do a little hurricane dance up there so it’ll go up the coast? Lol
-
With a potential for a hit between Savannah and Wilmington NC it might be time for a road trip up to East Hartland, maybe it’ll be like Erin which gave us the most amazing un-South Carolina like summer weather after it passed OTS with temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s with low humidity for weeks.

As I read your post I am here in North Myrtle Beach and the wind has gone from an estimated steady 10 to 15 miles an hour to a steady 20 to 30 with gusts considerably over 40 possibly a little over 45mph, heavy squalls coming through now, more exciting than I thought it would be. -
Hello everyone, I normally post on the New England forum however I am in North Myrtle Beach and the weather has quickly deteriorated to heavy squalls and the wind has increased considerably in the last 30 minutes from an estimated 10 to 15 miles an hour to 20 to 25 with a couple of gusts that have been 40mph at least, I don’t have an anemometer however I think that is a pretty close estimate.

Had an inch of snow Tuesday night about 2 inches early Friday morning and now 4 inches, where was this in December? Pretty interesting winter. I was in Hartland from Thanksgiving through the first week of March, disappointed that there were no big Nor’easter’s but at least it wasn’t an endless run of 45° and partly cloudy.
-
Yep that is snow blowing off the roof, I couldn’t figure out how to load the video. Snow has stopped NE wind and 32° total snowfall 4 inches
-
E Hartland earlier this morning, didn’t get a measurement but eyeballing it from this grab from a video looks like 3 1/2 maybe 4 inches
-
Got a message that rain has switched to snow in Barkhamsted and Hartland in the last half hour, 33°
