Wednesday looks like a lock to hit at least 90 for HBG. I’m at 83 now and the forecast iirc was 79.

I’ve lived quite a few spots and been to 45 or so counties. This region is truly one of the better places to live. It’s beautiful, has four seasons, a pretty good COL, and close to all the arts and city life you need and alternatively middle of nowhere rural areas if needed.

Our retirement plan is somewhere just N of NYC. It was back to Texas but not now. Weather and other things have tuned that off.

91 with a real feel of 107 in Sarasota. Lunch out in the lanai overlooking the gulf was a chore.

We own a big chunk of land in northern Ontario along Lake Huron and haven’t been since 2019 due to Covid then fires. It sucks.

Canada already has said the expect wildfires to be worst this year than last. They got no real precip again this last winter. We have a trip to the Maritime provinces in late Sept and October and I’m doubting it happens.

Was crazy busy today. .11” since midnight but .10 was prior to 8 am. Fly to hot as hell Sarasota tmrw. Supposed to fly home Sunday but looks very stormy there then so who knows.
