  1. Hey @Jns2183 there’s your thunder. That is about all the bite this line has here - it has calmed out totally. But rain will be nice.
  2. You can see the line hit where the instability stopped - SPC nailed this
  3. It’s slowed way the hell down, that for sure.
  4. You had some sun before us and that can upset stable stuff and the 70-80kn winds are at 2-3k so doesn’t take much to mix them down. I don’t doubt that guesstimate at all.
  5. Like entering W Cumberland was just warned for severe.
  6. It’s 72 but the humidity is down to 57. It was 67 about an hour ago. Big, big winds in what seems like a gravity wave here.
  7. Wind has knocked out power in the city. It’s blowing 50 now.
  8. You can see storms firing on the dry line around Williamsport. The sun just came out for the first time in Harrisburg.
  9. Meanwhile here it is gusting to 46 mph from the SE, rare stuff.
  10. 3 diff tornado warnings now in N Central PA
  11. @WmsptWx is right in the tornado warning or just outside it.

  13. https://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/exper/enhtstm/
  14. 70% chance if t-storms for this entire forum per SPC.
  15. TOR watch issued for a Johnstown/Bradford line on west to just to the E burbs of Columbus OH.
  16. Won’t take much to tap into the jet overhead. It is screaming. Wind advisories up too for Dauphin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties. 15-25 mph with gusts to 50.
  17. KBMX radar is basically in the middle of rotation.
  18. Absolutely. Today is my fav kind of day. I’m weird.
  19. Makes sense. May get some thunder E of you but that’s about it - I’ll that the rain though.
  20. SPC with a day 2 high risk - third time in history they’ve done that. The others: 4/14/2012 4/7/2006
  21. Not sold on much severe in the LSV Sunday - clouds might not let anything destabilize. But the winds will still be fierce and a squall line can still occur even if not officially severe. I don't know the true definition of a derecho, but this evening in Missouri/Iowa/Illinois seems like a derecho event is going to occur.
