It’s all great. Well except Juneau haha We’ve been 3 times (two one way cruises and a land trip to the park) and want to go in winter. But once you see Norway Alaska looks like the Blue Mountains. It’s crazy.

Yes to all the above. Every state except North Dakota and 51 total counties. Every continent except Antarctica.

I've never done Gravelly but the annex has a tower you can go in and view takeoffs and landings from Dulles. You won't be underneath the planes like at Gravelly, but it's a pretty great spot and that museum is so, so good.

Do you like Indian food? If so and want to do the Spy Museum, Rasika which is one of the best Indian restaurants in the country is a 5 or so minute walk away. I'd avoid the Wharf honestly - nothing great down there worthy of all the traffic and crows of people. So many good DC restaurants elsewhere. If you want to watch planes, how about going to the "real" air museum out at Dulles? That place is amazing. Uber can get you everywhere, and DC is pretty walkable if it's not too humid (which it probably will be ... ). We go down for dinner every month or so.

5.8” here in Harrisburg Pa (plus a tornado that did a lot of damage) says it agrees.

Now #8 in the books.

62 was the low. May get into the upper 50s tonight for the first time in months.

It’s really easy to see how the epicenter of the heavy precip went through camp hill and Enola up into Harrisburg and the tornado was just to the east of that band.

Harrisburg officially recorded 5.56” rain yesterday (the city not MDT). The due north / south line of the heavy band is wild on this map

Haven’t paid attention to extended range. Any hints of a big warmup later this month or have we finally been completely reset?

I got 4.6” more than MDT. That’s payback!
