    Went on a 11 mile hike in Swatara State Park today. Got quite sweaty. Lots of stuff budding. Birds singing. It’s hard to believe it’s February 23.

    55 and sunny. If we can’t have winter I’ll not complain about this whatsoever.

    I tend to think we get snow in March. How much? Who knows, but transient season here seemingly always produces.

    I got blasted for saying we'd be on the outside looking in. Turns out even I was wrong - no one on the east coast has been "in" except I guess interior northern New England.

    Course have been open on/off all season. It’s been warm enough the greens a aren’t dying out entirely. It’s like I’m back in Texas.

    Great day to ready the garden for spring. 54 in the shade, 61 in full sun. So many things are poking out.

    We have 20 days until we gain an hour of sunlight. Going back to yesterday’s discussion the time change is when many bail.

    Next season someone needs to take the Day 10 snowfall maps and add the totals for end of season. It’s be an amazing number.

    Zac was great. He left the boards but I think iirc it wasn’t drama just a personal decision. He was battling some health issues too at the time.

    Yes. He’s says he’s staying in the area x hope all is well. I forget why Jamie and heavy left. They were always wonderful. We’ve been blessed with a great crew - well other than the guy earlier this year.

    Extreme cold is very dangerous. Give me the mid-teens for two or so weeks in January/February and I’m good.

    I'm more upset about the lack of really any cold air than snowfall. Last winter was a really nice one - that one big storm to kick it off then a bunch of 3-4"ers. We've had a ton of big snows the last decade.

    I’ve shoveled once this year and it wasn’t for snow but sleet.

    He had the most dominant season (compared to league average) in mlb history a a Red Sox. His 99-02 run is the best anyone has ever pitched compare to average.
