    I think I have figured out why we are having the worst winter of all time. The snow knew a pandemic was here and has been practicing social distancing.

    It’s expanding in the Philippines where it’s in the 90s. I don’t think warmth does anything to this virus.

    Late week looks gloomy, rain off/on and around 70. MDT might hit 75 Friday.

    The lack certainly did, but we had leaders telling people it was gong away and to keep working. We could’ve contained this if we had followed up on those entering the country for quarantine but didn’t, shutting down travel would also have greatly helped. The greater good is at stake. (We can all disagree here - let’s not ever get to name calling like other places. We are all good people up in here!)

    It follows other states. Bars, restaurants, casinos, theaters, etc close. If they can offer TOGO they do that but no guests. If you think a national shutdown isn’t going to happen you need to read up on virus. We had a chance to contain this weeks ago and dodged responsibility. Our agency is closed but we are working remotely.

    This is right. The only way to stop this is to force close everything - should've been done two weeks ago in states with cases. Instead we had leaders telling people it'll go away on its own and to go to work even if they're feeling sick. They REALLY f'd this up. Now everyone's trying to play catchup and put the horses back in the barn.

    Our hyacinth are all fully blooming. A month or so early. Is normally w afraid of a hard freeze but we aren’t getting another one it appears.

    Part of this being a littke late is PA school districts are so incredibly f’d up the Dept of Ed has zero control over them. Literally, they can’t tell a district to do anything and the district doesn’t have to tell the dept if they’re closed. It’s INSANE.

    Had tickets to 3 Broadway shies this weekend. It’s been painful getting our hotel, train and those tickets refunded/changed. But this is what happens when you have an inept administration pretending a virus isn’t circulating.

    We have worse luck with those than 10 day digital snowstorms.

    Harrisburg has saved a TON of money this year - they haven't had to use a plow or a grain of salt on the streets the entire season. It's remarkable.

    Earlier I predicted MDT wouldn’t see a daytime high below 38 the rest of the “season.” I probably can amend that to around 44. Cold is done. Prediction: MDT hits 74 Monday.

    Aside from a little rain Tuesday the whole week looks to be in the mid to upper 50s and sunny. IMO winter is dead, enjoy spring before humidity arrives.

    Winds calmed and its 51. Sun feels much warmer. Probably hits 70 Tuesday.

    It rained in the am but was dry from about noon until 6, then just mist/very light rain. Probably a mountain caused thing. It’s windy again today!

    lol it hit 48 at my house. No real rain all day. Buuuuust.
