  1. Mine broke - I think a groundhog knocked it over or something.
  2. @Jns2183 thank you for the data. If you could do a Google Drive doc of HBG snow records that'd be amazing (and since @sauss06 lost his he could use it too).
  3. Horst was barking about this upcoming polar vortex this morning on Twitter. It looks - cold!
  4. Pretty cool it was 6 degrees Monday and Tuesday and we've had like an inch of rain Wednesday night into Thursday. I feel like I live in Washington, DC.
  5. Snowpack took a serious hit today. Tomorriw might finish off anything on paved surfaces. Booooooo
  6. Might have to wait until February unless cold and dry gets you talkin'.
  7. Looks like a better ice rink than most NHL Winter Classics.
  8. The river here is impressively ice-covered. I'll try to get some photos today if I can get out when it's not pouring.
  9. Best. Storm. EVER. For me, remember I moved to PA in late 2006 ...
  10. And after I say CTP didn't seem impressed with frozen precip they put out a WWA for most of this subforum. 11. CTP isn't impressed much at all with any frozen precip the next few days. <.1" ice tomorrow morning and a slight chance of snow showers Thursday, calling for mostly rain. Talking about the LSV.
  12. Unless that massive ridge out west moves nothing big will be on the horizon. Like you said, a swap between cold/dry and wet/warm repeatedly. Kinda depressing we're blowing the best climo period here but it is what it is. I'm sure March will get us a massive storm per usual.
  13. The Walnut St Bridge n Harrisburg always washed away on this date. So says PennLive.
  14. 6 here for the low - the wind was howling all damn night.
  15. Ha! Same here when cars head down our unplowed alley and aren’t in the tire lanes that are bare pavement.
  16. Yea 1010mb h sitting south of New Orleans looks enticing doesn’t it?
  17. Temps have held steady at 27 here since 1:30, didn’t expect that.
  18. True, side roads will be slick for sure. The sn and wind is definitely helping dry a bit.
  19. Just went on a drive around Harrisburg, Camp Hill, out to Wegmans, etc. Roads are all plowed and clear so refreeze down here shouldn’t be too much of an issue. Trees have no snow thanks to the rain.
  20. Had to have had more than half an inch of plain rain overnight, quite a lot of my snow has melted into a soup.
