  1. Thinking of you want more than half a foot of snow you need to go south, nearly to VA.
  2. Shoot me for saying this - but the NAM evolution actually makes sense. GFS is a minor event for anyone Harrisburg and N/NW. It’s been incredibly consistent with keeping good snow south of the border.
  3. Might be my mind doing tricks - and I don’t know where verification scores are - but hasn’t the old school GFS kicked the tail of the other models this season?
  4. Will be tough to beat November’s 8.8” storm here but please god let’s do it.
  5. Forecast high was 52. It's already 54. Nice spring day outside for February 15.
  6. If we totaled up the snow on the 384 hr GEFS and Euro we'd be like Erie last year.
  7. Use the ignore button. Stick around, we need you! But yeah it looks pretty blah for the next week. Not snowing on Presidents Day should be illegal.
  8. ... back to the weather. At a quick glance it appears the 12z models lost basically every snowmaker potential for the next week. Cutters but I don't see any cold air to help it not rain.
  9. I’m now basically at 25” for the season. A month and a half to get a foot - seems reasonable given the upcoming pattern.
  10. Freezing rain in Harrisburg - coating on most every untreated surface now.
  11. They do. I almost died walking up the steps to the Capitol.
  12. Went out and cleaned up during the dryslot moment. I’ll call this 4.5” snow and .3” sleet. Really nice storm -would’ve been perfect had we been able to hang on to the cold air in the atmosphere through noon. Like MAG said the ENE wind is chilly!
  13. Forecast here prob going to bust on the low side of sleet accumulation.
  14. Props to the NAM. It fared well. Well minus that giant dryslot - it did well on the transition.
  15. Warm beat cold in the valley - don’t see that every day. Sleet/zr mix - think I finished with about 4” snow for both events.
  16. I jinxed it, back to super light snow. It’s melting quicker than falling again.
