    Nope - I’ll go hung tomorrow. It might be in the river honestly. Pretty sure I just hit 52 mph. My anemometer is cheap but pretty accurate.

    46 is my current daily high wind gust - expect to best that overnight.

    I posit about wind all the time cause I had 2 houses torn apart by tornadoes. And a school while in 5th grade. Wind is not my friend. Plus the way my house sits it’s a giant sail.

    Sustained 25-30 with gusts in the mid 40s and might get stronger overnight. this SUCKS.

    It's nice of the wind to kick in 4 hours prior to the advisory start time. Gonna be a long, long day and night hoping my siding/flashing doesn't get ripped off (again).

    Snow at my house is all gone except on the back side of the garage that never sees sun. The vinca is showing through there though so it's not long for the ground.

    59 in my backyard. All snow in front is gone (it's in the sun nearly all day).

    Hauling water in the 50s and 60s probably beats dealing with snow!

    We just ran to the vet to pick up some medicine - wife had her side on HI (82+), mine on LO (65-). So, yeah.

    It's downright warm in the sun. Big snowpile out front is virtually gone - probably will be by midday tomorrow.

    A Norfolk Southern train derailed in Perry County yesterday and has closed the track for at least a day - Amtrak's runs to PIttsburgh had to be cancelled. Amtrak sharing track with freight trains is the absolutely dumbest thing on the face of this planet.

    The warmth was early in the day if I recall and very short-lived.

    I built WITF's website and was there for about a year and a half in 2010/11. (Great job, great people - support local public media!) Anywho the building is on the flight path into MDT and up on a hill with an all glass facade. Watching Air Force One do touch and gos all day always made it look like we'd have skid marks on the roof.
