We did go. Not for the whole thing - had a dinner reservation. It we have a friend who is high up and was able to visit the box for a few innings. There was a womens March which made traffic a bitch and it was really too hot but otherwise a great day.

Well they have the most titles since 2000 and 4th best record. This year they had a real hot streak and played way over their heads ... it's been a very disappointing last month. Just bad baseball - errors, poor baserunning, really bad approaches at the plate. I have to wonder if all the Covid issues they've faced has split the team apart. It's ugly.

Going to be in DC tomorrow and it'll be 80+. Won't be surprised if I hit 80 here at home too Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Booooooooooooooo

Wells had a 7.4 ERA to start last night's game. His stuff wasn't good although he mixed pitches decently well - Boston had horrific at bats after the first inning. Edit: I don't say junkballer to be disrespectful - but this offense should kill them. They're supposedly built to feast on that style.

That was horrific baseball. Boston looks dead. Losing to the worst team in baseball 2/3 with your season on the line to a bunch of junkball pitchers who have ERAs in the 7s. It's inexcusable.

When is our next shot for rain? Have a lot of junk growing behind my garage next to a fence and it's too dry to yank out right now. Forecast shows no rain at all for the next week.

Got up to 69 but it was short-lived, down to 67. Mid to upper 70s Saturday through Monday boooo.

Narrow roads, wide busses, driving on wrong side of the street. Many tourists get into wrecks with them. The bus system is excellent and easy to use, and the ferries are great to get to/from Hamilton or East George. I think cruises now shop way out on the point so it's a hike to most places, but worth it. Bermuda is a perfect palce to go for a long weekend and relax. Not far, pretty. Of course last time we were there my wife had a heat stroke on said ferry and that wasn't fun. It can get CRAZY hot there in August.
