    Sneaky chance of some severe storms overnight Thursday into Friday. Might be more down in Maryland but something to watch. The GFS features 80 knot winds at 850. That’s the only thing worthwhile in the extended range. Nothing else anywhere around.

    It’s felt just like Texas the last 4 days for sure. Looks like middle next week through the weekend (and beyond?) will again too unfortunately.

    I should preface when I say no snow I mean no accumulation. Maybe the xterms southern tier gets work better rates but I think we are once again dealing with warm air hanging around too long.

    50 degrees at 9:30 am is gross.

    It’s not going to snow Sunday - well some southern spots might get mood flurries I guess. Then we spike up again to near 60 by late week. Big rains Thursday to wash away the remaining salt - will be nice. Maybe we luck out with a March surprise? I am doubtful but March is unpredictable and has delivered big time in the past.

    That’s very surprising. Wonder why? The river here was iced over 4 or solid weeks which is quite a while. It’s broken up now and it’ll be all gone next week but it was orrry while it lasted.

    No mud down here. Dry and starting to green up a bit. The river should be free of ice by midweek too - it’s half or more clear now.

    My office is downtown but I'm only there once every few weeks.

    Up to 62. Wonder why the record high is for today.

    After a few days in the low to mid 30s we get back up to near 60 starting next Thursday. Another warm weekend it appears. Some rain Thursday but otherwise dry and boring.

    60. I think I posted late last week some 60s were possible this late week. Models did good with this warm wave.

    58 in my backyard. It's warm, and the wind's not near where predicted as of yet.

    They’d had only 4” less snow than me!

    A few days in the 50s pops plants in February. This winter seems dead so getting a head start on laying mulch and all.

    Took off tomorrow to get the garden ready from spring which will be here in 3 or so weeks. Have some daffodils starting to poke up.

    Just hit 50 in HBG. Forecast high was 47 lol

    The torch seems guaranteed - but nothing in the pattern shows me to we can get enough cold along with moisture in March to produce anything to stick to anywhere down this way. The AED machine has been placed on the victim.
