The gulf is open for this. Someone is getting 8” in this region. Giddy the f up.

Feeling this is a 5-7” event for me. Measuring will be impossible unfortunately but I think around 10 am it’ll be about her heaviest snow we ever get.

62 here today. Monday looks like it’ll be back in the mid to upper 50s. All year we have had cold air then a storm brought in warm air that killed all our snow. Now we have extremely warm air and a storm is bringing arctic air and that will create a bombing low to put in moisture in the form of snow. And it’s March. Go figure.

Maybe it’s a pavement forecast? Maybe I could see only a few inches on roads with recent temps and tomorrow’s wind.

Yesterday I said this was a solid 3" event for MDT. I think we have a good shot at getting 5", but will be impossible to measure with blowing snow. Leave it to March for the best event of the entire season.

Nothing at all downtown. It snowed for an hour or so but didn't even stick to a Dumpster. Wife says however in midtown most stuff was covered except roads.

Not as bad in HBG but CTP called this perfectly in its discussion: Lots of wind damage reports across the area as the extreme llvl winds are mixing down well. Expecting some of the line to continue to make damage, esp the portion going thru the middle Susq (toward Lewisburg/Danville). Core of fastest wind is >70KT not even 2KFT aloft. Some weakening seen in the south, but downslope and good srly inflow/convergence to the SE of Blue Mtn may flare it back up again. Just got gust 54MPH on the roof - well behind the line. Will chop the SVR watch very slowly.

Gusted to 42 right after the rain - the storm itself was a giant nothingburger though.

Been a wild swing here today - low of 51, got to 73 at 1230, down to 58 at 2:50 and now up to 70 again. Incoming line out west is strengthening a bit. Don’t expect the mountains to do much to disrupt it.

Line out in western PA has tstorm warnings from south to north border. Impressive.
