  1. It was going to get warm over the weekend and prob hit 80 Saturday - but what's keeping the warmth at bay now? Is it the easterlies with that system that won't leave the Atlantic?
  2. It was 97 at the parents yesterday and they're in NE TX. The blastfurnace is off to a quick start.
  3. A brilliant day. 64. The weeds are out of control but this morning if you looked at them they were so waterlogged they jumped out of the soil. Great day to garden. It is GREEN out.

  13. Yea you’re gonna be way closer. It looks like a less wasted weekend and more intermittent downpours. 1-1.5” over 2.5 days isn’t a huge deal.
  14. We should do rainfall contest. I’ll go with MDT at 3.1” for this event (Friday through Sunday afternoon).
  15. While the weekend sucks, today is pretty. 67 at 11:45 and probably reach 75 or so.
  16. Yea we are canceling our anniversary plans. Driving to and from DC in the pouring rain sounds awful.
  17. Ugh we're going to Arlington National Cemetery Saturday to visit all the grandparents' graves. It's also our wedding anniversary and we have outside dinner reservations in DC that evening at our favorite restaurant in the country. Lovely!
  18. That storm around 12-12:30 last night was the first one I can remember in a long while that was just lightening and reallly rolling thunder that didn't have any wind, or hail, or tornadoes, or sheep in it. Just a nice old-school t-storm.
  19. Watching this line fall apart over the Laurels will be fun.
