  1. Flying in Friday to Eau Claire. Looks like it’ll be hot as hell Monday when we are In Minneapolis watching my Red Sox. WTF More importantly what local beers should I buy (aside from Leinenkugel's)?
  2. Going to be in Eau Claire and Minneapolis next this weekend. Monday it prob hits 90 there with heat indexes near 100. Of course. Gonna be a hot af Sox game.
  3. It must be awful and more than a handful of kids. Feel bad for the band, cheerleaders, any kids who weren't involved (it must not be many though).
  4. Where the hell have you been? Glad you’re back!
  5. We carried a rifle and shot the gar, or just cut the line and restrung the rod. They're the worst.
  6. Mostly sunny and 83 here. And dry of course. Really miffed I got no rain yesterday still.
  7. 4th driest August on record at MDT. Minus 1.83” for the month.
  8. Was on Caddo Lake (Google map it!) and our boat spring a leak so we marooned on an tiny island all night (no cell service and no way to see what was going on). That was terrifying knowing those snakes and gators were all around us.
  9. For some reason I thought they were a subspecies ..l but they’re the same. Learn something new every day.
  10. CTP's radar is back online. We can now watch ... wispy clouds and building heat for the next week.
  11. Water moccasins and alligator gar, too. Had a moccasin jump in our boat one night night-fishing ... my bro immediately jumped out. My dad then said, "where do you think the snake came from?" hahahahahaha
  12. My friend who has a ranch in Texas (it's actually cool - he breeds waygu cattle and buffalo) just bought a Gravely Pro Turn 600 mower and posted a video of him using it last weekend. That thing is amazing.
  13. Rest of the 7 days look dry and warm. 90 probably Thursday, lots of upper 80s for us around HBG otherwise. Aside from afternoon heat-built pop up storms, dry as a bone.
  14. Mostly sunny again. Prob all for the day. Finished the last 2 days with a mighty .12”, nary a measurable drop today. One of the bigger busts in the last 5 years.
  15. Bushes and trees are turning along the river.
  16. CTP posted this - sun shines in the city as it pours to the NW
  17. As expected that cell died and left me high and dry. Suns out again! What a failure.
  18. Parents can't leave their driveway cause the road's underwater. Drought to flood in 24 hours.
  19. We were supposed to have 1.25" by now. That didn't exactly work out, at all, did it. Parents in Texas have 7" rain since midday yesterday, and days left to go it appears.
