    This “storm” Thursday looks weaker and weaker. Won’t be surprised if a lot get less than .25” rain. At least it wasn’t snow and a heartbreaker.

    The west needs as much moisture as it can get, I'll gladly punt a winter if they can get some drought relief. That's a far bigger need. (That said the flooding they're experiencing is devastating).

    Central Park looks to go through January without measurable snow for the first time I believe ever.

    I had at best .2" this am. Roofs and grass lightly covered. Saying for the season I'm at 4.1".

    Rooting the weekend rainstorm goes away and it ends up dry. Had a tiny bit of sleet earlier.

    Was home more than ever the last 3 years cause Covid and a sick kitten. She passed away last week (still heartbroken) so more travel now. Lots in the works. tl,dr: no, home is boring

    What’s the timing for that system next week? We’ll be in NYC for Broadway shows - shouldn’t be an issue but might need to monitor to leave earlier if snow causes train issues (usually not an issue)

    Funny, I’m the opposite. Big storms are great but if that’s it regardless the size winter to me is non existent. That 2010-11 winter where we got ~3” snow every Wednesday or so for two months was perfect.

    The 30% chance of showers has led to three straight hours of rain here.

    Until the pattern has a huge shift we’ll never get real snow outside a weird storm. No more 1-4” clipper systems weekly or other little things that tally up to seasonal total. It’s boom or bust, mostly all bust for the last many years and no end in sight. It is what it is. It’s like a Virginia winter constantly here now.

    Nice week of mid to late April weather we got here in the first week of January. Short sleeves for that farm show.

    Fog is back and I can’t see two blocks away.

    It has rained all day since 10 am. Neve stopped. And that fog was scary. We were driving across the Harvey Taylor and literally could not see the concrete wall.

    Looks likely MDT won’t go below 32 for at least 168 hours - or through next Friday. Wasting away snow chances.
