  1. For those keeping score that ULL didn’t even produce for those way down south overnight / this morning. And it looks like after our one day of normalish temps on Friday we immediately jump back to 10-20 degrees AN for the weekend. February might beat January’s +8.
  2. CTP sums it up .LONG TERM /TUESDAY THROUGH SATURDAY/... No changes generally to the extended as mild weather continues through the extended with no winter weather in sight. POPs ramp up again by Thu PM and have mentioned a schc TS in the NW ahead of the cold front. Temps look like they will be falling all day on Fri if the timing remains solid. Still no widespread snow in sight.
  3. Looking very windy Thursday and Friday. Only excitement in the future is … wind and record breaking high temps.
  4. @MAG5035 should have mentioned I don’t see the Euro ones. Good catch!
  5. The SE ridge doesn’t appear to weaken at all in weeklies through mid March. With that in place, winter remains dead. That said probably a significant blizzard next Wednesday in a good chunk of Iowa, Kansas and Colorado. Not sold on us getting severe storms Thursday but tons of time to get those cape values NE.
  6. Don't worry, once precip arrives it'll warm right up.
  7. It hadn't been too bad until then, gusts into the low 30s but sustained probably around 20. That was a weird little push, back down to what we've had since overnight now. Tomorrow doesn't look noticeably less windy.
  8. Really strong winds the last 5 minutes. 45 or so sustained. Didn't expect that strong.
  9. My forsythia are starting to bloom. Pretty sunset tonight though!
  10. Can you look and compare temps? It's not so much the lack of snow (although NYC is still shut out with a legit chance they don't get a flake). It just seems we have SO MANY 10+ AN days. I've had to put on a actual coat 6 or so days this winter. It's a damn travesty.
  11. Don't worry we'll get a foot of snow on March 28 to make the average look like it was a fair winter.
  12. 62 at 3 pm but it is clouding back up so probably that's my peak.
  13. Sun broke out here about 45 mins ago for the first time all day.
  14. It is evident to me weather patterns have changed entirely and we aren’t going back.
  15. Bugs are out today. Saw a ton on my walk along the river and at the house. 56 was my high. Probably start seeing mosquitoes next week with the warmth. I miss real winters but they might never coming back during our lifetimes …
  16. Clearfield has a wind advisory for Thursday/Friday but not the LSV, even though winds look identical. Weird.
  17. He needs an editor. His writing is way too verbose imo.
  18. Or it break downs in May and it's rainy and 50 on Memorial Day.
  19. You can reach the Sierra Nevadas by car. Go through Texas and get real barbecue too - bonus!
