    I’m pretty confused by this system. The front is well east and winds behind are wild as expected but it’s dark as midnight and absolutely pouring rain. What is this?

    No cape here really to mix down the severe winds I guess. It’s guys though bi t nothing major at all. I still like NJ for a tornado possibility.

    Heavy rain but winds were only in upper 30s with that little storm. It is a hauling thought. Already sunny again.

    Storm has hit some fuel due west of Harrisburg and is severe warned.

    I’m on the rooftop at Millworks and can see the cloud racing to the north. Very cool. I didn’t think we’d hear sever down here but surprised it somewhat collapsed so far west. It’ll regroup - if I was in NJ I’d be pretty worried. Meanwhile winds are starting to howl.

    Pittsburgh had a gust to 63 a few minutes ago. Storm near Somerset looks to have 70 mph winds with it.

    Severe thunderstorm watch now out for the entire region until 8 pm. Winds have started to pick up - gusting into the mid 20s now. That’ll increase by 25-40 mph as the afternoon goes on …

    68 and rapidly clearing skies at noon. I’ve lived here since 2006 and don’t think I’ve ever read more aggressive language from CTP.
