One heck of a coastal storm next weds night on the Euro.

30 measurable events here that winter with 14" being the highest but 11 of those fell in the 6-10" range that season.

Oh god would i sign up for another Dec 2007, 41.5" of snow fell that winter in December and sits at #3 all time with 137.8" for the season.

The 1032mb high over Northern Maine in combination with that SLP offshore certainly generated the winds and coastal issues but the qpf was a major fail on modeling.

A lot of hype for a 997-1000mb storm, The biggest thing with this has been the surf along the coast and offshore.

I would not use this storm in Oct as what may happen going forward, Wavelengths are not even the same as they will be in the winter.

I agree totally, Its going to be a rough winter if some just rely on modeling, The GFS looks like you may have to weight even less then before as every storm will be a snowstorm with its cold bias this winter, Still don't know how the last Euro upgrade is going to shake out either until we get the first legit threat.

That chill would coincide with hunting season up here at the end of the month, Been some exceptions over the last 10 yrs or so but its usually a colder start to Nov in most cases up here.

Yup, Enough leftover cold on the backside of that runner to possibly give elevations in NNE some snow, Of course it’s probably gone next run seeing it’s out in la la land. .
