    I have it piped to the foundation, But i don't use it but was considering it but he talked me out of it because the cost are increasing.

    My burner man did not recommend switching to gas like i was considering doing as well, he said it would cost more to heat.

    Yeah, That's not very realistic, My oil bill per year wouldn't warrant that.

    Going with the cast iron boiler, It will be the last one i have to replace, You can't beat german technology when it comes to heating with a boiler.

    Did that a few years back on mine, That's not a big job.

    Going with a Buderus Boiler, They're the most efficient boiler out there, Still need a hot water source if you go with heat pumps.

    My fears with an older boiler here too, Already had to replace the Honeywell triple aquastat for the second time in 18 mos 4 weeks ago,( had no heat) at $600 a pop, Going to be going to a new boiler next summer.

    Don't even think twice on this, Its common ground every winter, Better when its the track on my sled doing it though, But a nice reminder of what we take for granted up here.............

    Do they all need to come out of Alberta? The piece thats responsible is sliding east at the US/CAN border not traversing thru the upper ohio valley and redeveloping off the delmarva, Call it what you want its in clown range anyways.
