  1. Its just puking snow there right now.
  2. This is another good site to access more web cams, https://maine-webcams.com/maine-webcam-map/
  3. Pretty thin up there, Rode to the forks a couple times but rode mainly the Eustis, Rangeley and Pittsburg corridor last winter.
  4. At least some areas are seeing snow, Looks to be ripping in Jackman
  5. I take a few positives out of these last 2 runs, Main features are there just timing differences this far out.
  6. Its going to be a bit late on the phase this run a bit differently from 18z, A bit sooner though and could see something similar.
  7. A near miss is still a miss, GEFS looked like dung at 18z after the Op came out so it was sipping the champagne early.
  8. H5 is like night and day from 0z and 18z on the GFS, Good reason why the OP runs are still not very useful.
  9. This is where your doomsday prepping pays off.
  10. Maybe we can get 2' of frost in the ground before February's thaw.
  11. I’m not liking what I’m seeing so far for the 6th, But still some time left in the period, Will need to see some changes in the next couple days, Maybe we get some of this out of the way or lift further north to give the 6th some room to come further north, Low confidence for now.
  12. I want to hear people bitch how cold and snowy it is so I can laugh at them.
  13. My suggestions if you like this type of weather in late December I would probably think about a residence in a southern climate.
  14. The west of the river crew does not like congrats EMATT.
  15. Thats is my take as well, We can get by on a less favorable set up in many cases where other areas need it, A +2-3 month in Jan still yields snow up here temp wise, But a solid block and strong confluence is not very friendly when your closer to those sources, This is why we need a favorable storm track thru the GOM, Not one squeezed south of here to the ENE, So that’s all I’m looking at now, Lot of cooks in the kitchen of flow right now.
  16. Sometimes to much of a good thing is a bit much.
  17. Until some come onshore out west and get a good sampling, We wait.
  18. A good thing too, We need some prolonged hard freezes.
  19. That’s a scraper on the GFS, Squashed to the east by that block and 50/50 low.
  20. With where that PV sits, It won't take a whole lot to get a powder keg off the coast and nearby too.
