  1. @Scud you have been asked numerous times by myself, H2O, and @WxUSAF to stop the cursing. Stop it.
  2. that was rough. i feel for whoever made it. i ended up deleting my own tweet about it after seeing some of the comments/fallout.
  3. ha, i wasn't that concerned. figured you come here and see it eventually.
  4. hey @stormtracker i think we can shut down storm mode for this one. i am sure some will still follow, while others think it will actually become a major storm, but i'm not sure moderating it is worth it any longer. my 2 cents anyways.
  5. Others had the same thoughts. the H5 looked awful, that lobe being further south does us no favors, yet the precip shield ended up further north. who knows man... who knows lol
  6. really great write-up by them. hopefully today the moving parts become a little bit easier to figure out what they will do. i'm not quite ready to write this off either.
  7. woo another year! if you are new to the forum and haven't participated in seasonal snow totals in the past, please make sure to include your lat/long coordinates for your location. i have for years been making winter snowfall maps for our subforum and welcome all to keep track of their totals. the more data the better! lat/long coordinates can be found here: https://www.latlong.net/ you do not need to put your actual house location if you are not comfortable doing so, any location near you works just fine. heres hoping for a great end of the year map!

  9. NWS Morehead has confirmed that one is not to be trusted.
  10. yeah, i thought that was the follow up to your earlier post about the potential for a field amputation.
  11. that camera went underwater last night, so surge must have receded a little bit this AM.
  12. their map last night had a fill for the flooding. that current 10 ft contour is hard to interpret. is that actual elevation, or water level?
  13. beautiful shot this AM - the cloud field is quite large
  14. the news up here has been harping on it quite a bit. coastal flood watches out for tonight into the weekend. Ocean City mayor was on the radio this morning talking about their efforts to help against erosion should there be any surge issues, etc. Our governor declared a state of emergency earlier this week.
